The Ukraine national football represents Ukraine in men’s international football and is governed by the Ukrainian Association of Football, the governing body for football in Ukraine.

1. Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Zinchenko was born on 15 December 1996. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the Ukraine national team.

Zinchenko began his career at Russian Premier League team Ufa before joining Manchester City in 2016 for a fee of around £1.7 million. A versatile player, he started his career as an attacking midfielder but eventually converted into a left-back or wing-back under Pep Guardiola.

He has since won four Premier League titles, four League Cups, and an FA Cup with the club. As a full Ukrainian international since 2015, Zinchenko represented his country at UEFA Euro 2020.

2. Andriy Yarmolenko

Andriy Mykolayovych Yarmolenko was born on 23 October 1989. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a winger or forward for the Emirati UAE Pro League club Al Ain and captains the Ukraine national team.

Yarmolenko has been a full international for Ukraine since 2009, scoring 45 goals in 109 matches and playing at UEFA Euro 2012, Euro 2016, and Euro 2020.

3. Roman Yaremchuk

Roman Olehovych Yaremchuk was born on 27 November 1995. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Belgian club Club Brugge and the Ukraine national team. After coming through Dynamo Kyiv’s youth academy, Yaremchuk began playing for the club’s reserve side in 2013 and was promoted to the first team two years later.

He was subsequently loaned to fellow Ukrainian side Oleksandriya during the 2016–17 season, before moving to Belgian side Gent in 2018. A year later, he moved to Benfica in a transfer worth €18.5 million, before returning to Belgium the following season, to sign for Club Brugge for a transfer worth €16 million.

After representing Ukraine at various youth levels, Yaremchuk was called up to the full international side for the first time in September 2018 and played at UEFA Euro 2020.

4. Mykhaylo Mudryk

Mykhaylo Petrovych Mudryk was born on 5 January 2001. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a winger for FC Shakhtar Donetsk. Mudryk started playing football at Metalist Kharkiv in 2010. Then moved to the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk academy.

From 2017 to 2018 he played for the Ukraine national under-17 football team. From 2018 to 2019 he played for the Ukraine national under-19 football team, appearing in 11 matches and scoring 5 goals.

In 2019 he was included in the Ukraine national under-21 football team, playing 9 matches and scoring 1 goal. On 7 September 2021, he scored the winning goal from a free-kick against Armenia.

5. Vitaliy Mykolenko

Vitaliy Serhiyovych Mykolenko was born on 29 May 1999. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Premier League club Everton and the Ukraine national team.

Mykolenko represented Ukraine at all levels of youth football. He made his debut for the Ukraine national team at age 19, on 20 November 2018 in a friendly against Turkey, as a starter.

6. Artem Dovbyk

Artem Oleksandrovych Dovbyk was born on 21 June 1997. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Ukrainian Premier League club Dnipro-1 and the Ukraine national team.

Dovbyk was called up to the training camp of the Ukraine national under-19 football team but has not played any game for this representation. At the age of 19, Dovbyk received his first call-up to the full national team when he was named in the 31-player senior squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Iceland on 5 September 2016, but not made a debut for it.

He took part in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification as a 19-year-old and participated in the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification. He made his debut for Ukraine on 31 March 2021 in a World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan.

7. Andriy Lunin

Andriy Oleksiyovych was born on 11 February 1999. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the La Liga club Real Madrid and the Ukraine national team. Lunin is a product of FC Metalist Youth Sportive School and FC Dnipro Youth Sportive School Systems.

Lunin made his Ukraine national team debut at the age of 19, on 23 March 2018, in a 1–1 friendly draw with Saudi Arabia. In 2019, he backstopped the Ukraine U20 team from their first-ever FIFA U-20 World Cup victory.

He played in six of his team’s seven matches, having to miss the quarterfinal match against Colombia due to being called up to Ukraine’s main squad for the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying matches against Serbia and Luxembourg.

After the 3–1 final match victory against South Korea, Lunin was awarded the Golden Glove as the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

8. Danylo Ihnatenko

Danylo Ihorovych Ihnatenko was born on 13 March 1997. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the club Bordeaux and the Ukraine national team. Ihnatenko is a product of the Metalurh Zaporizhzhia youth team system. His first trainer was Mykola Syenovalov.

He made his debut for Metalurh Zaporizhzhia in the Ukrainian Premier League in a match against Dynamo Kyiv on 30 May 2015. Ihnatenko made his debut for Ukraine in a 1–0 UEFA Nations League win over the Republic of Ireland on 8 June 2022.

9. Oleksandr Tymchyk

Oleksandr Vasylyovych Tymchyk was born on 20 January 1997. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine national team. Tymchyk is a product of the BRW-BIK Volodymyr-Volynskyi and FC Dynamo youth sportive schools. His first trainer was Ruslan Gan.

He spent his career in the Ukrainian Premier League Reserves and in October 2016 was promoted to the main-squad team. Tymchyk made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League for club Dynamo Kyiv in a match against Dnipro as a start-squad player on 6 November 2016. He made his professional debut with Ukraine in a 2–1 UEFA Nations League win over Switzerland on 3 September 2020.

10. Andriy Pyatov

Andriy Valeriyovych Pyatov was born on 28 June 1984. He is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk.

Pyatov started his career in Kirovohrad playing for amateur club Artemida sponsored by a former local liquor factory Artemida, in the 2000 Amateur League when he was still 15 years old.

Pyatov was a member of the Ukrainian national under-21 team where he played 20 matches. He was also part of Ukraine’s 2006 World Cup squad which got to the quarter-finals. Pyatov made his senior debut for Ukraine in 2007.

Since then, he has gone on to make over 90 appearances for the Ukrainian national team. He started the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a clean sheet against Belarus to help Ukraine win 1–0 in Lviv.

In May 2021, despite playing a limited role for his club side during the 2020–21 season, Pyatov was included in the final 26-man squad for the rescheduled UEFA Euro 2020 tournament. Pyatov played his 102nd and final international match on 11 June 2022, starting in a 3–0 win over Armenia.
