Born on 24th August 1989, Nadiya Bychkova is a Ukrainian ballroom and Latin American dancer who is a multiple-time Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion and also a two-time World and European Champion in 鈥�10鈥� Dance.

In 2017, she joined the British television show Strictly Come Dancing as a professional dancer.

She is well known for her graceful dancing moves that have won her a number of awards. She started as a model but later took dancing seriously and professionally after realizing it was a passion of hers she could not shake off.

Nadiya is a very private person and therefore not much about her private life is in the public domain. What can be found is mostly about her dancing career progress.

1.  Nadiya appeared as a professional dancer in a British dance show in 2017

In 2017, Bychkova appeared as a professional dancer in the fifteenth series of the British television dance show Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami.

They managed to reach the quarter final of the competition, by finishing in the sixth place.

2. She returned in 2018 for a second series

She returned for her second series in 2018, partnered with another ‘former’ EastEnders actor and Blue singer Lee Ryan.

The couple was eliminated in week three. Despite the elimination, it was commendable how they managed to move the crowd with their graceful moves. For Nadiya, it has always been about how she moves so effortlessly whether she ends up losing or winning.

3.Bychkova performed well that she returned for a third series in 2019

Bychkova returned for her third series in 2019 and was partnered with ex-professional footballer David James. They were the fourth couple to be eliminated.

In 2021, Bychkova was paired with BBC television journalist, Breakfast, The NFL Show and former Football Focus presenter Dan Walker, some ten inches taller.

She had previously been a professional dancer on the Bosnian version of the show thus was easy for her to fit right in.

4. She is a two-time world champion and European champion in ballroom and Latin 10 dance

Nadiya Bychkova is a two-time World Champion and European Champion in ballroom and Latin 鈥�10鈥� Dance. She is also multiple-time Slovenian ballroom and Latin Champion.

Nadiya has previously taken part in the Bosnian version of Strictly, and she can also do hip-hop dancing.

Nadiya Bychkova is originally from the Ukraine. She trained at the same dance school in Slovenia as Aljaz.

For a brief spell, she appeared on Bosnia & Herzegovina鈥檚 version of Strictly, before joining Strictly in 2017.

6. Took a break from partnering in dances in 2020

Bouncing back in 2019, Nadiya and her celeb partner, David James made it two more weeks to Week Five.

In 2020 however, Nadiya took a break from partnering. She later returned to the centre of the dance floor with Dan Walker for 2021.

7. She considers Slovenia her home despite having been all over the world

Born in what was the USSR (now Luhansk, Ukraine), Nadiya once told Slovenian media that she considers Slovenia home.

Regardless of her having been all over the world, she will always consider as her home and that is why she had no problem at all winning a championship title for her home country

8. She won champion titles for Slovenia

Nadiya managed to win  World Champion titles for Slovenia, alongside dance partner Miha Vodi膷ar.

The pair competed in a massive 10 dances to win the championship 鈥� five standard and five Latin American. Imagine that! It was quite commendable.

9. She is also a multiple-time Slovenian ballroom dancer

She鈥檚 also a multiple-time Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion, and is a familiar face to many of the Strictly Pros, having trained at the same Slovenian dance school as fellow Pro Alja啪 Skorjanec.

Nadiya is also a Slovenian ballroom champion, Latin champion and European championship winner.

After all those trophies, it seems Nadiya had the Glitterball in her sights.

For a brief spell, she appeared on Bosnia & Herzegovina鈥檚 version of Strictly, before joining the UK flagship in 2017.

She was paired up with EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami in 2017 and Blue singer Lee Ryan in 2018.

10. After taking a break in 2020, she was back in 2021 to take her title in the strictly dancing show

Flashing forward to 2021, Nadiya teamed up with Dan Walker to take the Strictly title. They did manage to hence taking up her position as one of the best ballroom dancers of her time, once again.
