Although the area is reminiscent of a public beach, there are calm and flat areas in the back where you can pitch a tent. This way, you can enjoy swimming in a clean sea during the day and sleep peacefully at night.

There are also kiosks in the Ilica Beach camping area where you can meet your immediate needs such as eating and drinking. If you don’t want to pay too much for food, you can bring it with you instead of going to special buffets and restaurants. When you arrive with a special vehicle, you can get long-lasting canned foods from the market.

7. It is a well-known location for windsurfing and kite surfing

The beach at Ilica is about 1.5 kilometers long, and while some sections are private, there is plenty of public space. A consistent stiff, cross-shore breeze makes this and neighboring Alaçat an internationally recognized windsurfing and kite surfing destination.

It is only 3 kilometers from Cesme. Ilica Beach is about a half-hour drive from the district center of EÅŸme. Ilica beach, which is popular with visitors of all ages, has a depth that does not exceed the height of a human in a hundred-meter stretch from the coast to the sea, making it a popular choice for those learning to swim and playing water polo.

10. Ilica beach can be reached by public transportation or by private car

The beach is easily accessible by public transportation. The only way to do this is to take one of the minibusses that run through Ilica Beach and leave from the center of eÅŸme. Those who prefer to travel by private car rather than public transportation can continue on the road from EÅŸme center and follow the Ilica signs. Those who want to reach Ilica via the ring road can take this alternate route, which has been extended by approximately 4 kilometers.
