A boat trip with the kids

This is the most unavoidable activity in Â鶹APP! The famous “bateau-mouche” will be great for the entire family and especially for the kids. It is a way to discover Â鶹APP differently, from the Seine. It’s a journey in time where you can see from the boat different historical monuments such as the Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, or the City Hall. Kids will enjoy the trip, it’s suitable for everyone!

A carousel ride: Museum of Fairground Arts

Located at 53 Avenue des Terroirs de France, you will find the Museum of Fairground Arts. This is the museum that I recommend to every parent! Indeed I spent a lot of my weekends when I was younger in this museum. It’s the place where kids get to have a lot of fun and where parents can get back to their childhood. There are wooden carousels, decoration, lights! It is completely another world. It’s the most successful museum with kids. However, you should know that you need to in order to visit the museum.

A connexion with nature: the Jardin des Plantes

The Jardin des Plantes is one of the most beautiful places to go with kids in Â鶹APP. It’s located in the fifth arrondissement, on the Left Bank and covers more than 28 hectares (28 soccer fields!). It is my favorite garden in Â鶹APP because there are plenty of activities to partake in it! You can go walking in the park, or go into the Grande Galerie de l’Evolution (Natural History Museum). There is even a zoo! This is THE garden you must visit with kids.

A different cinema experience: La Geode: A cinema experience

La Geode is a dome that holds an Omnimax theatre in Parc de la Villette at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie (City of Science and Industry) in the nineteenth arrondissement of Â鶹APP. Movies are projected in IMAX format on a giant hemispherical screen. The IMAX films, presented in high definition and Géode 3D-relief, feature science, nature, and travel documentaries, short and long feature-length films, and high definition animated subjects. That’s really the place to go with kids especially if they love movies! It offers a great cinema experience. You will not be the same after one projection!

A wax museum: The Grevin Museum

The Grévin Museum looks like Madame Tussauds Museum, it is a wax museum! It contains more than 450 characters from different times and countries. You can see a lot of scenes from the history of France and modern life, including a panorama of French history from Charlemagne to Napoleon III, bloody scenes of the French Revolution, movie stars, and international figures such as Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, and Pope John Paul II. That’s a museum of art, history and entertainment of course! This will be a fun way to learn about history and some of the most important French figures! Kids will love it!
