Universal studios japan [USJ] is one of the universal studio鈥檚 theme parks located in Osaka Japan.

The park was opened on 31^st March 2001, and since then it has received 11 million guests visiting the park

Every year the park receives approximately 8 million visitors. The USJ park celebrated its tenth anniversary in the year 2011 with various events being held in celebrations.

The theme park greeted its 100^th million visitors since its opening on Monday 29, October 2012.

According to the 2014 theme index global attraction attendance report, universal studios japan ranked fifth among the top 25 amusement/theme parks worldwide, inviting 11.8 million visitors in 2014, 16.8% more than in the prior year.

1. The theme park has a wizard world of harry potter

The world of harry potter at USJ opened on 15^th July 2014. It includes a village of Hogsmeade, Harry Potter, and a forbidden journey ride.

The park of wizard world is a theme based on the harry potter series and its main feature is the harry potter and the forbidden journey, which is a motion dark-based ride.

To enter the ride one walks through the gates of Hogwarts castle and begins their journeys in the dungeons, where featured items from the movies and books are featured.

In the hallways, there are replicas of the rooms of Hogwarts castle such as the headmaster鈥檚 office and Professor Dumbledore extends a warm welcome to all muggles.

2. There is a magical forbidden journey ride

The forbidden journey is believed by many to be the most interesting ride at the park. The journey begins with a dousing of floo powder from Hermian granger, requesting guests to say the observatory word to transport them to their desired destination.

The headmaster sends his visitors along to the defense against the dark art classrooms for what he promises will be a great lecture.

Harry and his friends with invisible cloaks warn the visitors of the boredom of the lecture ahead.

3. There is fun drilling universal wonderland for children

The universal wonderland of the park is designed to attract children and their families. It was opened in March 2012.

The area contains three themed sub-zone, including, the snoopy study based on the peanut comic strip.

Originally the snoopy studios suited at the park had their stand-alone area, opening with the park in march 2001, before becoming part of the universal wonderland.

The park entertains children with diverse rides such as the flying snoopy where they get to sit on airplanes.

The other fun rides small thrilling roller coasters called great race and a ride where riders get to sit in cupcakes and spin around in circles.

4. There is a holly wood dream ride at the park

The holly wood dream The ride is a steel roller coaster at universal studio japan. It features inbuilt sound systems allowing riders to choose their ride music.

In 2022, the studio announced the famous one-piece anime will re-theme to the Hollywood dream The ride, and the two merged as one and are now entitled one-piece X Hollywood dream.

The Hollywood dream has five strains each carrying 36 riders in nine cars, having a row of four seats.

All the trains have an onboard audio and lighting system and each has a headset stereo sound.

The onboard audio and lighting system animates LED lights that are built into the sides and front of the trains and the lights vary as the train moves through different tracts.

The popularity of the Hollywood dream is so impactful that it saw the park鈥檚 net income increase by 63.6锕�.

5. The park has an area of Jurassic park for fun rides

Another exciting feature of USJ is the Jurassic park The ride which is water-based on the film Jurassic Park.

The area of Jurassic park offers rollercoaster rides with flying dinosaurs, which is a three-minute thrilling ride, and it鈥檚 combined well with the rest of the Jurassic area.

The ride begins with a flying reptile attacking from behind and taking the passengers high into the sky as it turns with a 90-degree flip.

The theme park minions opened on 21^st April 2017 in universal studio japan, the world鈥檚 largest minion area.

It features events, shows, shops with many minion items, and themed restaurants. The attraction rides of 鈥渄espicable me minion mayhem鈥� in the minion park have a set theme for the guests.

The setting is in the heart of super villain Grus鈥檚 laboratory, his guests join Grus and his three daughters as well as the minion on a 3-D ride, which they are promised to be recruited for his latest schemes and become part of the minion family.

The spider-man adventure ride has won several awards such as the Golden Ticket Award for the best dark ride for repeated 12 years.
