 Sanrio Puroland is an indoor theme park that was created on December 7th, 1990. It is located on the western outskirts of Tokyo in Tama new town.

It is famous for its homage to the Sanrio characters including the famous Hello Kitty. The theme park has dedicated the rides, shows, and parades solely to Hello Kitty, Gudetama, Aggretsuko, and other friends becoming patrons of hyper cuteness.

The theme park operated at a loss up until the bubble economy ceased. The only other attribute that temporarily staggered Puroland was the early stages of the covid-19 pandemic.

The Sanrio company first conceptualized Puroland to compose of communication theme and changed names from communication world to Sanrio heart park and Sanrio Piero land.
