Have you just finished visiting the famous Palais Royal in Â鶹APP, and you’re now looking for some good activities to extend the pleasure of your trip in the center of Â鶹APP? Here is my Â鶹APPian list of the best things to do near the Palais Royal!

Cultural walk or Museum:

The first thing you can do near the Palais Royal is to look for a cultural walk and some museums. Here are my best addresses. First and above all, you CANNOT leave Â鶹APP without visiting the Louvre Museum.

If you’re near the Palais Royal, this is the perfect occasion! I won’t even tell you why you should go there, because it is simply the best and most famous museum of the world. But here is a special tip for you: enter it by the lion gate, so that you will avoid a huge part of the line. This is a Â鶹APPian trick!

Some other monuments

The second thing you can do around the Palais Royal is to go for a walk to see the other impressive monuments of the neighborhood. My favorite walk would be to go the Tuileries Garden, then the place de la Concorde. It is a lovely French garden, really typical, where you can enjoy a lovely walk.

Then, the place de la Concorde offers you an amazing view of the Champs-Elysées Avenue, and the Triumph Arch, the Madeleine’s Church or the Us Embassy and some famous French 5 stars Hotels. This is really an impressive place, where you can feel the History of Â鶹APP. It may look a bit pompous sometimes, but that’s why we love Â鶹APP no?

You just want to relax and walk a bit?

You might just be tired, and I totally understand that you just want to walk to relax a bit. Then, my advice would be to go either to the Tuileries garden to sit on a bench enjoying the view, or to got to the ‘Pont des Arts’, the most romantic place of Â鶹APP.

We have a tradition here in Â鶹APP: couples hang a love lock on the bridge, write their name and the date on it and throw the key directly to the Seine river. Then, the lock will symbolize that their love is unbreakable. You can also chose to walk on the banks, which is always a romantic tour.
