Fei Yu-ching is a Taiwanese former singer, songwriter and television host. He was born with the name Chang Yen-ching on 17th July 1955 in Taipei. His parents were Mainlanders and are the youngest of three children.

The family of Fei Yu-ching was renowned in Taiwan as his eldest sister, Chang Yen-ching is a singer professionally known as Jenny Fei. However, she decided to do away with singing as she became a Buddhist nun in 1991 with the dharma. Chang Yen-ching took the name, Heng Shu.

The elder brother of Fei Yu-ching, Chang Fei is also a singer and a television personality. Fei Yu-ching’s career began in 1973 as he built his large fan base alongside his brother.

Fei Yu-ching was well known for his witty humour, his improvised singing and celebrity impersonations in this show. He got the nickname Myna Bird from this show. Fei went on to host more television music programmes.
