Alec Su You-peng is a Taiwanese actor, singer, television producer and film director. He was born on 11th September 1973 in Taipei, Taiwan. Not a lot is known about the family and siblings, but his father鈥檚 name is Chang Kou-Chu and his mother is Zhang Lu.

His family gave him the best opportunity for education as he grew up. In 1988 at the age of fifteen, the career of Alec Su began when he officially joined the Little Tigers trio.

The Little Tigers trio was the first idol singing group which debuted in the Taiwanese music industry. Of all the band members, Alec Su was labelled as the 鈥渙bedient tiger.鈥� This group gain more popularity across Asia.

They attracted fans from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and several Chinese communities around the world. The success of the Little Tigers trio began a new generation of Taiwanese pop culture in the early 1990s which continues.

Alec Su was a very talented young boy as he grew up in Taipei. In 1988, at the age of 15, Alec Su officially began his music career. He joined the Little Tigers trio which later became a popular music band.

This band was the first idol singing group that debuted in the Taiwanese music industry. During his period with the band, Alec Su was labelled as the most obedient tiger.

The Little Tiger band attracted fans from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and amongst Chinese communities gaining them more popularity. Their success brought up a new generation of Taiwanese pop culture.

As a young person, Alec Su was multi-talented. Other than being a popular singer, Su was also brilliant in his studies. He was epitomised by the general public as a superior student.

Alec Su attended Taiwan鈥檚 number one high school Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School. He was later on accepted into the prestigious National Taiwan University. Alec Su majored in Mechanical Engineering.

Alec Su enjoyed his spell as a musician with the Little Tigers trio for several years. However, in 1995, the Little Tigers trio finally broke up and each member had to venture into other things.

Alec Su decided to embark on an acting career which was a big decision and perfect. He took the role of Wu Ah Ge in the Chinese TV series blockbuster My Fair Princess I and II.

This series won him fame as a television star in 1997. In 2000, Alec Su continued becoming a major hit in the TV series Romance in the Rain.

Later on, he featured in another TV series Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre, Magic Touch of Fate where he co-starred with actress Ruby Lin and Korean singer Kang Ta. His television career was a major step forward.
