Ouyang Nana is a Taiwanese actress, singer, and musician who was born on 15^th June 2000. She is the daughter of veteran actors Fu Juan and Ouyang Long and the niece of a popular Taiwanese pop singer Ougany Fei Fei.

Nana resumed her studies in September 2018 after leaving Curtis at the Berklee College of Music. She became very prominent at a young age after featuring in the romantic film Secret Fruit and the action film Bleeding Steel.

She also began to play cello at a very young age and currently has various albums with a million followers on Instagram. She has performed alongside world-class people including Wiz Khalifa and in the movie with Jackie Chan.

Ouyang Nana was also honored to be the Asian face of Maje during their 20^th anniversary. She was nominated for various awards including the China Celebrity 100 list in 2020.

1. Ouyang Nana was Inspired by Cellist Mei-Ying Liao

Ouyang Nana was greatly inspired by cellist Mei-Ying Liao. She started playing guitar just at the age of four years. She later began to play piano and cello at the age of five and six respectively.

During the Wenhua Taiwan Cup Music Competition in Taiwan, she won first place in both cello and guitar and second position in piano.

In 2008, she began to attend a music program at Dunhua Elementary School, and later in 2012 she graduated with top honors.

2. She Became the Principal Cellist of the Century Youth Orchestra

She was admitted to the Affiliated Junior High School of National Taiwan Normal University in the year 2010 to study cello. It was during the same year that she became the principal cellist.

She also took first place in both cello and the string quartet during the Grand Taiwan National Music Competition in 2011. She managed first place in the National Music Competition of Taiwan.

She also took part in the National Cello Institute Summer Festival which took place in the United States.

3. Ouyang Nana was the Youngest Cellist to Ever Appear in the Concert Hall of Taiwan

Ouyang Nana being a very young talented and focused lady made her first appearance in the concert hall of Taiwan in 2012. She was the youngest person to ever appear as a cellist on that platform.

It was also during the same year that she won the first award at the Taiwan School year 100 National Music Competition.

Her great performance earned her a chance in a music program at the National Taiwan Normal University.

4. She has Held Concerts on Major International Platforms

She began to hold concerts after attending the Curtis Institute of Music located in Philadelphia in the year 2013. She held a series of sold-out concerts in Taiwan and was later invited to perform in a concert in Japan.

In 2015 she released her first solo album after signing with Universal Music Group鈥檚 Mercury Classics labels.

5. Ouyang Nana Released her First Single in 2016

The album 鈥淲arming Your Winter鈥� was the first single that Ouyang Nana released in 2016 for her first television drama. In 2017 she then released her second single album 鈥淐ello Loves Disney鈥�.

In December of the same year, she performed at the Oscar of Science a rendition of 鈥淪ee You Again鈥� together with Wiz Khalifa. Nana since became the first Asian in history to perform at that event.

6. She Gain Fame with her Appearance in 鈥淏eijing Love Story鈥�

Ouyang Nana attracted mass attention when she first appeared in the romantic film 鈥淏eijing Love Story鈥� where she played a cellist.

She was also featured in a sports film 鈥淭o the Fore鈥� where she was later nominated as the Best Supporting Actress during the Macau International Film Festival.

Ouyang Nana was featured in a science fiction film 鈥淏leeding Steel鈥� with Honk Kong actor Jackie Chan. She also made her first attempt on her small screen in the romance comedy drama.

7. She was Cast as the Female Lead in the Youth Film

She was also cast as the female lead in the year 2018, during the fantasy adventure drama 鈥淭he Great Ruler鈥� alongside a Chinese singer, songwriter, actor, and television host Roy Wang.

She has released many singles since 2016 including; warming your winter in 2016 in the album 鈥淵es! Mr. Fashion.

In 2017 in the album 鈥淪ecret Fruit鈥� she released three singles titled 鈥淭he Secret Words鈥�, 鈥淔or My 17-year-old self鈥� and 鈥�17-year-old, I鈥檝e Got Something to Say鈥�.

She also released 鈥淥ne Heart One Thought鈥� in 2020 in the album The Great Ruler.
