Chien-Ming Wang was born on March 31, 1980, in Guanmiao, Tainan, Taiwan. He is a Taiwanese Former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Kansas City and Washington Nationals.
The Baseball pitcher started playing in major league baseball on April 30, 2005, for the New York Yankees and his last major league baseball was on August 30, 2016, for the Kansas City Royals.

He has played the MLB for several teams such as Kansas City, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees and Washington Nationals. He has won many leagues during his career time. For example, he left a legacy of winning 19 games for the Yankees a year after joining the major league system.

Wang has stopped participating in major league baseball for years now. He has been one of the best professional baseball Pitcher among Taiwanese.
He is currently working as an assistant pitching coach for CTBC brothers. A professional baseball team in Taiwan. This team was originally established as an amateur team by the Brother Hotel Located in Taipei City and later joined the Chinese Professional Baseball League in 1989.

Wang spend several seasons signed as an amateur free agent with the Yankees. He participated in the minor league system for seasons. Through working hard in the minor league, he made his way to his major league Baseball debut in 2005.
In the years 2006 and 2007, he became one of the best starting pitchers for the Yankees, with his hard sinker. He won 19 games in both seasons, (2006,2007) and led the American League. This was a good start for him and he left a legacy.

It is surprising how Wang spent time with a man he called uncle only to find out, later on, is the biological father. More information about the man has not been revealed. Neither the name nor the nationality.
During an interview with The New York Times in 2006, is when Wang revealed surprising news. He said, he is a biological child of the man formerly thought was his uncle.
6. Wang Rose Through New York Yankees
Chien rose through the New York Yankees minor league system. He signed as an amateur free agent with the Yankees in 2000. Not in contract with them but to nurture his career.
After he had worked his way up through the Yankees’ minor league system for several seasons, he made his first major league Baseball debut in the year 2015. In later years he made it in many major league baseball for the New York Yankees, Washington Nationals, Toronto Blue Jays, and Kansas City Royals.

He played for New York Yankees from 2005-2009, it was the team he stayed and played for a long time. On April 30, 2005, he made his Major League Baseball against the Toronto Blue Jays, pitching seven strong innings while allowing only two earned runs. He earned a no-decision in the Yankees’ 4-3 win. He made more wins in this team till 2009 when his injured leg became unbearable.
He also played for Washington Nationals from 2011-2012. In 2008, when Wang was still in the Yankees he suffered foot injuries and several arm injuries that cost most of his 2009 and all of 2010. In the year 2011, he returned to the major leagues under the Washington Nationals Team. He started 21 games over two seasons while nursing his injuries and in 2013 signed back to the Yankees.
Wang, 2013, signed with the Toronto Blue Jays after he had signed back with the Yankees in the same year but was released without pitching in the major leagues. He signed with six starts with limited effectiveness. After pitching for minor League teams in 2015 and 2015, Chien returned to the major leagues as a relief pitcher with Kansas City Royals in 2016.
9. He Loves to Exercise
Chien-Ming Wang is an exercising person, he loves to keep fit. The Baseball Pitcher is tall although his actual height is not mentioned, he looks a little taller when with his friends.
Despite him being tall he has managed to maintain his weight, he always exercises regularly to maintain his body size and be fit for his career.
