The 85 Sky Tower, was formally known as the T & C Tower or the Tuntex Sky Tower. It is an 85-story skyscraper which is located in Lingya District, Kaohsiung City, in Taiwan the building is 347.5 m which is 1,140 ft high.

The Tower鈥檚 antenna increases its pinnacle height to 378 m which is 1,240 ft. The building was constructed between 1994 to 1997. It was the tallest skyscraper in Kaohsiung by then, and also it was once the tallest building in Taiwan until the completion of Taipei 101 in 2004.

The designer of the Tower was C.Y. Lee & Partners together with Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, who designed the unusual 鈥榩rong鈥� design. It had two separate 39-floor sections.

The two floors were merged into a single central tower which raised to a spire. The two separate 39th-floor designs left a unique space which was below the central part of the tower.
