Roy Chiu was born on October 14, 198, in Nangang, Taipei, Taiwan. Chiu is also known as Chiu Ze or Qiu Ze. He is a Taiwanese actor, singer and racing driver. Since 2002 up to date he has been active in his career.

He is married to Hsu Wei-Ning his fellow artist. Hsu is a Taiwanese actress and model. She began her career as a model before she joined the drama series. He married in the year 2021.

The actor has been featured in different Television series, Movie Films and Music videos. Due to his excellent work, he has won several awards the 1^st Sanlih Drama Awards, 51^st Golden Bell Awards, 55^th Golden Horse Awards, 20^th Taipei Film Awards and 19^th Chinese Film Media Awards.

In 2021, Roy Chiu married a Taiwanese actress and model, Hsu Wei-ning also known as Tiffany Ann Hsu. She first started her modelling career before she started acting.

She has featured in many television series and movie films throughout her career. In 2016, he earned two 51^st Golden Bell Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Television Series and Best Leading Actor in a Television Film nomination for his performance in Marry Me, or Not? and In Love-The Last Gentleness respectively.

Chiu earned himself 2 Awards in 2018, the 55^th Golden Horse Awards and the 20^th Taipei Film Award for Best Leading Actor nomination for his performance in Dear Ex and the 19^th Chinese Film Media Awards for the same performance in 2019 among others.

Roy Chiu has starred in different Music Videos for different artists. This is one of the outstanding facts of Roy. In the year 2001, he starred in several songs by Joey Yung such as Honestly, Solemn on Stage, Thank You For Loving Me, and Goodbye My First Love.

He also appeared in Chris Yu’s song Closer, and Siren’s song I’m Here, in 2002. In the year 2006, he starred in the F.I.R songs Flight Tribe and Deeply in Love With Him. Roy appeared in music videos for Achau songs in 2008 such as Do You Understand, Pang Pang and How Are You among others.

9. He started Playing Volleyball When he was 10

Roy is also a volleyball player. He started playing volleyball when he was only ten. When he was still in school, he participated in playing volleyball.

It is interesting to know that Roy has never given up on playing Volleyball for his school. Throughout his academic career, he played for his school team. He ended his volleyball career in 2009.

Chiu loves Racing more than any in his career. This was proven when he was asked whether he liked acting or singing better he replied ‘Racing’.

He is the second Taiwanese celebrity to become a professional race car driver after Jimmy Lin. Chiu raced in the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival at Zhuhai International Circuit in 2012 and got second and third place.
