Learning a foreign language is not an easy breeze and somehow Ella has pulled to learn Four but is fluent in three.
She speaks German and Swiss, and French at a native level but is fluent in German and English. She also speaks a bit of Siberian which she dedicated to learning during her role as Boba in Sympathy for The Devil.
3. For a role, she has shaved her hair
Being an actress is not all glamour sometimes the actors /actress have to bend towards an extreme plane of acting to get into the characters they are meant to portray.
Ella was no exception, in the 2014 Film War, where she played Ali, she had to shave her hair to get into character. Though the role was demanding, it made her nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Swiss Film Awards.
4. She was diagnosed with ADD
The actress is believed to have been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD), a neurological disorder that causes a wide range of behavior problems.
According to an in-depth interview with Swiss media, the actress was first diagnosed by a psychiatrist during her childhood years.
A unique approach to dealing with it was formulated instead of prescribing the traditional use of Ritalin, which is the standard medication used to treat ADD, instead, she was sent to Steiner School in Zurich.
This was a great approach as Steiner schools are known for their insistence on imagination and creative and integrative education.
This method was the beginning of leading her to the path of acting which changed her world completely, she was saved from becoming a victim to ADD drugs that might have led her to a gloomy path.
5.She has studied acting in London
Ella has had her fair share of travel, and though she has an innate talent for acting she had to go to school to learn the ropes of acting on a larger scale.
Every great student begins somewhere and for Ella, this began at Atelierschule Zurich in 2013, she then decided to upgrade and move to London. In London, she attended the Giles Foreman Center for Acting from 2013 to 2015.

She trained at Giles Foreman center for acting, which specializes particularly in improvising. This gained skill came to aid her in the role of Tiger Girl, in which she was made to improvise every single line as per the director’s wishes.
Ella described the process as natural like she was meant for the role and on the other hand, she mentioned the difficulty of it.
7.Her Father was a psychotherapist
Ella Rumpf’s father is a psychotherapist by profession and her mother is a lecturer, the two met at Sorbonne University in Âé¶¹APP.
This type of background is believed to have helped her bring out the best in the character, Fleur Salome in the series Freud. Fleur is a character in the series who teams up with Freud to solve a case in each episode.
8.She has Starred in the series, Tokyo Vice

Ella has starred alongside Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe in the crime drama series, Tokyo Vice. The series premiered on April 7, 2022, on HBO Max.
Ella beautifully played the character Polina, an eastern European migrant who is battling life struggles as a new hostess at the Onyx Club.
Polina’s main purpose of making it to Tokyo was to be a model but unfortunately, she got pulled into the seedy underbelly of Kabukicho.
