Melia was born in Geneva Switzerland to an American father and a Greek mother.

However, she was raised primarily in Athens and she considers Greece her home. She also grew up spending lots of time in the United States visiting her father and she currently resides in the United States.

2. She was a Dancer

Melia isn鈥檛 someone who has dreamed of becoming an actress. In fact, acting wasn鈥檛 even in her interest for several years.

Instead, she was focused on becoming a dancer and she devoted all of her time and energy to perfecting her craft. However, she was forced to switch interests after an injury that ended her dancing career.

6. Her Mother and Godfather motivated Melia to Acting School

Melia said: 鈥�When I got injured with dance and it looked like I was not going to be able to keep doing it my mom and my godfather and everybody just kind of grilled me for a few months while I was in physical therapy for my dance injuries.

They said just try just go to acting school for a year. Just try it. And I knew they were right. I knew this was what I was going to do. I just wanted to not do it just because they kept saying to do it. And so I did it.

And they were right. And after I did it for a few months and after I let it sort of go against it so much it was the best thing that has happened to me. Admitting that was what I wanted to do. I want to be an actor.鈥�

7. Melia Kreiling loves not having a Set Routine

For Melia however, it鈥檚 one of the things she likes the most. She told Prettly 鈥�Not having a routine is the best way for me to be at my best work-wise the element of change is invigorating and allows you to catch the small sparks of creativity before they鈥檝e run away from you.鈥�

Spending time outdoors is another one of Melia鈥檚 favorite ways to decompress. She is an adventurous person who enjoys trying new things that get her blood pumping. She loves to go horseback riding and she shared a video on Instagram showing her followers her experience.

9. Melia Kreiling has her Motorcycle License

Riding horses isn鈥檛 the only adventurous thing Melia likes to do.

However, she is also into motorcycles and has used some of her time during quarantine to focus on learning how to ride a motorcycle and she officially earned her license in 2020. Needless to say, Melia is now all about that bike life.
