Established in 1985, Kunsthalle Zurich is a non-collecting institution dedicated to contemporary art and its thinking. Kunsthalle Zurich hosts temporary exhibitions, which have, in recent years, included Gilbert & George, Ida Ekblad, Marianna Simnett and The Brotherhood of New Blockheads.

The collection is excellent and very well displayed. I took the audio tour which was a fantastic addition to my tour especially as there were so many paintings with commentary. From the outside the museum looks smallish, but don’t let that fool you
