Glynis Barber was married to Michael Brandon who was her co-star and an American actor. They both fell in love while they were casting the movie (Dempsey and Makepeace) playing the role of the police officers.

The couple had begun falling in love during the second series and this proved great joy for the fans.

After the cast ended in 1986, they split for a short while but later reunited in 1989 and got married. They got their firstborn son Alex in 1992.

2. Glynis Barber and her Husband had been Divorced from their Previous Marriages

Both Glynis and her husband Brandon had been married briefly before they got together and wedded.

Glynis was married to Paul Antony who was also an actor she had met in her drama school. The marriage lasted for 3 years.

Brandon was married to Lindsay Wanger and the marriage survived for 3 years. The couple believes that their second marriage survived since they were wedded in their 30s and 40s.

3. She Acted as a Secretary in her First Series 

Glynis Barber began her career at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. The first role that she played was a secretary in 1980 in a British Drama television series.

Her breakthrough came in 1981 when she played a role in the British Broadcasting Corporation. The series was a science fiction where she played series four but she had earlier played another character in series one episode.

In 1982 she took another role in the television series where she played the Heroine in the Second World War.

Glynis began to practice yoga when she started playing the Dempsey and peacemaker.
