1.Aloysius Started Acting When He Was Only 9 Years of Age
Aloysius made his acting debut at only 9 years of age in children’s drama Xiao Fei Ren. I Love My Home, A Child’s Hope and Bukit Ho Swee are other children’s drama series that he starred in during his formative years.
He filmed his first drama act with Shawn Lee who was his doppelganger in the drama series in those early years of his childhood acting.
2.Teasing Made Aloysius Stop Acting at The Age of 14 Temporarily
At the age of 14 while studying in Yuying Secondary School, Aloysius gave up acting due to teasing. He even went as far as calling MediaCorp and requesting them to never call him again and take his file out.
In 2012 Aloysius made his comeback in the film Timeless Love which was directed by Lim Koong Hwee and Dasmond Koh after graduating from Singapore Institute of Management
3.Aloysius Wanted People to Like Him for Who He Was Rather Than for His Personality on TV
As a child actor some people snubbed Aloysius and told him openly that people liked him not because he was good looking and/or a nice person but because he starred on TV. This distressed him greatly as he wanted people not to like him for being on TV but as an individual.
Aloysius wanted his personality to outshine his character on TV and as a result he was constantly seeking attention through rebellious behavior. He won the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes award at the 22nd Star Awards Ceremony which proved that he was a rising star in the industry. Aloysius also won the Best Newcomer award in the ceremony preceding the 2022 awards ceremony. In total he was nominated 22 times for star awards.

Aloysius spent some time and energy running a business venture he started in partnership with his elder brother, Jefferson, despite his commitment to acting.
He set up a business venture known as “Kairos Green” in 2017 after parting ways with MediaCorp to offer eco-friendly, low-maintenance solutions to Outdoor Decking.
Kairos Green made outdoor flooring by making use of Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) which was made from recycled materials like wood floor and thermoplastics among others.
8.Aloysius Was Loved by Fellow Actors and Celebrities in The Entertainment Industry
Aloysius was seen to be very close to many local celebrities despite his claim that he was quiet and a bit of a loner. After the accident that eventually claimed his life, many celebrities and co-actors sent him messages wishing him quick recovery through Instagram.
Kimberly Chia who was his co-star in the film It Takes Two and Love At Cavenagh Bridge shared how everyone was waiting for Aloysius to get back home safely after the accident in Instagram.

Aloysius set up a business with his elder brother, Jefferson, just to prove how much he trusted his family. To demonstrate how grateful, he was for the care that his parents gave him in his early years, Aloysius mentioned in an interview that his goal in life was to protect his mother.
Aloysius said that he often times lay down in between his parents after work just to talk and listen to them. He held that his parents were his emotional support pillars in his acting career.
Aloysius planned to settle down in marriage after the prime age of 33 and hoped to marry someone with a stronger character as he held that his character was too soft. He believed that a partner with a strong character was good for disciplining his children.
