The National Museum of Serbia is the largest and oldest museum in Belgrade, Serbia. The museum is located in the centre of Belgrade, in the main city square known as Trg Republike.
The museum is accessible through public means or you can use your own transport. It is good to note that the museum doesn’t have a private car park, however, there are a few city garages nearby where you can park such as Zeleni venac, Obilicev venac etc.

10. It is the Oldest National Museum
The National Museum of Belgrade, Serbia, is the oldest in the city. It was established on May 10, 1844. The building was constructed according to the design of architects Andra Stevanovic and Nikola Nestorovic on whom they received the prize price.
This museum was the first building which used some form of reinforced concrete for the foundation.
The museum moved to the present building; city square in 1950 which had a grand opening of the venue on May 23, 1952.
