Dahl Al Misfar Cave is the largest and deepest cave in Qatar, with a depth of about 40 meters to 100 meters. It is located 40 kilometres from Doha, the capital city of Qatar, in the Rawdat Rashid area.
Dahl Al Misfir Cave was formed 325,000 to 500,000 years back according to the Visit Qatar Website during the Middle Pleistocene. The cave is an attractive site and is even mentioned as one of Qatar’s tourist attractions.
