If your visit to the Sacre Coeur Basilica inspires a desire for traditional French cuisine, then you’ll be please to know this charming spot is just a short walk down the hill.

4. Au Moulin A Vent in Â鶹APP

I have a friend who is very freaked out by the concept of frog legs as a meal, and will only eat them at Au Moulin A Vent in St Victor on the Left Bank.

This is probably because the legs are dressed more like  fried chicken, and less like traditional lemon butter flavor. Nevertheless, anyone who is skeptical about tasting this dish for the first time might enjoy eating them here!

If you come to Le Square Trousseau, try to sit on the terrace. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, but any opportunity to dine outside in Â鶹APP should be taken.

They do traditional frog legs here, lightly cooked with salt and lemon, just the way the delicacy intends. Le Square Trousseau is open for most of the day, so you can come here for Eggs Benedict first thing in the morning, and frog legs last thing at night.

The Aligre Market is a short walk from Le Square Trousseau, and there is one stall inside that sometimes has frog legs to-go.

I love this charming little brasserie and their street seating.

The menu is predominantly French, and you’ll find one of the best best burger and fries meals in town! The frog legs make a great snacking dish alongside a pint of beer during the sunset.

Make sure to sit at the tables outside so you can soak up the ambiance of the city when you take your first froggy bite.

I found Allard while looking for photoshoot locations that might take one back to Â鶹APP in the 1920s. Once inside, you’ll quickly lose yourself in a bygone era, one where French food rules all and fine wine flows day & night.

In this beautiful space, snack on frog legs and other delicacies to your heart’s content. Just bare in mind that their lunch service is only two hours long, and dinner is probably a better time to visit if you want to savor every moment.

The Chalet Grégoire is actually very close by to Allard. It’s as cozy and charming, but more of a lunch spot in my opinion.

They do a ‘meal of the day’, which sometimes features the famous frog legs dish. Alternatively you can order it independently and enjoy the very careful seasoning that goes into their creation. The dish is portioned on the smaller side, you’ll need a main meal to follow!

Sacrée Fleur stands for sacred flower, and is absolutely a play on words due to the restaurants close proximity to the Sacre Coeur church.

I found this spot on a cold day in Â鶹APP while looking for French onion soup. The person next to me was snacking on the frog legs, and had but only good things to say about the dish.
