Charlotte Le Bon is a Canadian come French actress, model and television presenter, who is best known for her work in the Canal+ talk show Le Grand Journal, and the films The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014), The Walk (2015), and The Promise (2016). She began her career as a model at 16 years and left her country Canada for Â鶹APP, France when she was 19 to model overseas in 2011.

Le Bon was born in 1986 in Montreal, to a family of actors. She was born to actress Brigitte Paquette and Richard Le Bon. Her mother and her stepfather, Frank Schorpion, are both actors.She grew up knowing the art of acting as her mother could sometimes come home with her script and rehearse as Le Bon watches on. 

After studying visual arts in school, Le Bon began modelling at a tender age of 16 years old and left Canada when she was 19 to model overseas to try her lucky elsewhere . After spending brief periods in Tokyo and New York City, she eventually settled in Â鶹APP in 2010.In the French capital she finally made it and her star has since gone in upwards direction.

She has since made several appearances over the years including; In 2013, where she appeared in Mood Indigo and The Marchers, and in 2014 she starred as Yves Saint Laurent’s muse Victoire Doutreleau in the biographical film Yves Saint Laurent. 

She has also acted in English language films including; The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014), a romantic comedy directed by Lasse Hallstrom in which she plays a chef-in-training at an upscale French restaurant alongside Helen Mirren.She has since become a star and we could see her in several future films. 

4.Le Bon is also a movie director and made her debut in 2018

Le Bon is also a movie director and made her directorial debut with the short film known as Judith Hotel, which premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Her feature film directorial debut Falcon Lake, adapted from the graphic novel Une sÅ“ur by Bastien Vivès, also premiered in the Director’s Fortnight program at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

She has since also directed a couple of films in her short career as a director. Her work on directing the film Falcon Lake, earned Le Bon an award for the way she directed it to perfection. The award is known as the Emerging Canadian Director which she won at the 2022 Vancouver International Film Festival.
