Top 10 Unknown Facts about Ayeza Khan

Kinza Khan is a 31-year-old actress and model from Pakistan. She goes by the popular stage name Ayeza Khan.  She was born in Karachi, Pakistan but the family moved to Lahore for a better upbringing. 

She was the firstborn to Riza Yilmaz, an architect, and engineer and Fouzia Khan, a housewife. She has 2 brothers namely Arham Khan, Wasi Khan and one sister Hiba Khan.

Ayeza majorly works for Urdu, (Southern Asia language) Television. In her 11 years as an actress, she has featured in over 40 film roles. Her latest movie is Cahudhry and Sons (2022)

1. Ayeza Began Her Modeling Career in High School

Though there are no confirmed sources of where Ayeza studied, it is claimed that her modeling career began in high school. She participated in the school’s Pantene Shine Princess Contest and was 1^st runner-up.

After this, she starred as a model in several telecom advertisements. The 5’3 model/actress is also a good dancer and takes it as a way of maintaining her fitness.

Ayeza studied at the Newports Institute of Communication and Economics, Pakistan. She graduated and decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. 

3. Khan’s First Film Role Was As a Supporting Actress

In 2009, Ayeza Khan was offered a supporting role in the Hum Tv’s comedy Tum Jo Miley. She was 18 years at the time. This led her to be cast for lead roles gaining recognition in the film industry.

Her first lead character was in the Geo TV romantic drama Tootay Huway Per(2011). Some of her other recognized film roles were in Aks (2012), Kahi Unkahi (2012), Adhoori Aurat(2013), Mere Meherbaan (2014) and Tum Kon Piya (2016).

Ayeza has starred in 5 telefilms namely Eid Pe Aao Na(2012) as Rakhshi, Main Kukkoo Aurwoh(2014) as Zoya, Tero Meri Love Story(2016) as Sonia, Kahin Pol na Khul Jaye (2017) as Ayeza, and finally Vespa Girl (2019) as Saba.

Ayeza has made special appearances in various tv series from 2011-2014.

4. Ayeza Won the Best Actress in The 2014 Lux Style Awards

Ayeza starred as the main cast in the romantic-drama television serial Pyaray Afzal. The film itself was nominated for 7 Lux Style Awards winning 5 of those including Best Actress for Ayeza.

The other awards were Best Television Play, Best Television Director for Baig, Best Actor for Abbassi, and Best Television Writer.

Ayeza says playing Farah in Pyaray Afzal was the most challenging and demanding role she has taken up since she began acting. She termed it as ‘the turning point of her career’ and she would be pleased to work with the same team on the film’s recreation!

5. Ayeza Met Her Husband Through A Google Social Network Website

Ayeza and the actor Danish Taimoor have been married for 8 years now. They dated from 2006 after they met on Orkut, a Social Networking Website owned by google.

Before their marriage, the couple had previously broken up since Ayeza felt Danish was not ready for a long-term commitment. They rekindled their love and now the couple is referred to as Lollywood’s (Pakistani Urdu and Punjabi- language film industry) most attractive pair.

They have two children, a 7-year daughter Hoorain Taimoor and a 5-year-old son Rayaan Taimoor. Ayeza is family-oriented and always ensures she finds a balance between work and home, family being her utmost priority.

6. Ayeza Took a 2-year Career Break in Her Twenties

After her marriage to Danish Taimoor, Ayeza took a break from 2014- 2016. At the time, she received several offers from Bollywood but turned them down.

She made her come back to the industry with the tragic romance Tum Kon Piya(2016).

7. She Won The Best Actress in The 2020 Pakistan International Screen Award

Ayeza won the Best TV Actress award for the film Meray Paas Tum Ho in the premier of the Pakistan International Screen Award (PISA) in 2020. Within the same year, she was nominated for the Best Television Actress (Mere Paas Tum Ho) at Pakistan International Media Awards.

The PISA awards were held again in 2021, where Sarah Khan won the category of Best Actress.

8. She is The First Female Brand Ambassador for Harpic

Ayeza’s effortless ability to juggle being a mother and an actress in the limelight drew the household cleaning brand to pick her as their first-ever female ambassador. The brand had used actors Fahad Mustafa and Ahsan Khan for their previous campaigns.  

Harpic (Pakistan) is popular for its excellent quality toilet and bathroom cleaning detergents. Reckitt Pakistan conducted consumer-based research and settled on the most relatable influencer as the new face of the brand.

The actress has a huge social media following with over 11 million followers on Instagram making her the perfect influencer for the brand.

Ayeza’s favorite co-star is Imran Abbas whom she has worked with in 5 films. Her favourite actor is 41-year-old Fawad Khan (Pakistan) and favourite actress is 50-year-old actress Reema Khan (Pakistan). She is a fan of cricket and a big supporter of Shaid Afridi, the current captain of the Pakistan National Cricket Team.
