Sajal Ali was born on 17^th January in 1994 in Lahore, Pakistan. She is one of the most successful actresses in Pakistan known for playing an assortment of characters. She has acted in sentimental shows as well as a variety of contemporary serials on TV and films.

Sajal鈥檚 first appearance on screen was in Geo TV鈥檚 parody show Nadaaniyaan in 2009 in which she was given a minor role. Its in the 2011 ARY Digital鈥檚 family show Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain where she got acclaim for her break out role.

1. Sajal Has Played an Assortment of Characters on Screen

Sajal is one of the most successful actresses in Pakistan and also has a wide following globally. She has played an assortment of characters in serials on TVs and films.  She is known for playing contemporary roles in dramas that are romantic.

She first appeared on screen in 2009 where she played a minor role in Nadaaniyaan, a Geo TV鈥檚 parody show. It was in ARY Digital鈥檚 family show Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain where she got acclaim for her break out role.

In 2012 she acted in satire Mohabbat Jaye Bhar Mein and the sentimental Sitamgar. In 2013 she acted in the family parody Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah and in 2015 she acted in Gul-e-Rana which was a drama show.

Sajal鈥檚 home town is not Karachi but Lahore. She was born in 1994 and lived in Lahore for some time before her family relocated to Karachi. Her father separated with her mother and then they moved to Karachi.

Sajal and her siblings were brought up by a single parent, her mother Firdous Ali. Her sister Saboor Ali is also a famous actress and model.

3. Before Acting Career Sajal Worked as a Promotional Girl

Due to challenges which the family faced, Sajal finished her education in Karachi with an intermediate certificate even though she wanted to further her education.

She worked as a brand promotions girl at shopping malls to support her family financially before making her debut in showbiz. Her journey to showbiz was marked by a number of failed attempts.

Due to her screechy voice she was dismissed in a number of tryouts before she eventually got successful in 2009 at only 15 years of age.

Apart from her passion in acting since she was a child, singing and music is her other passion. In her well-known drama serial 鈥極 Rangreza鈥� she sung the title track for the drama serial.

In the drama serial, Sajal matched up with Bilal Abbas Khan in which she played the lead character of Sassi.

When growing up Sajal dreamt of pursuing business studies and becoming a business woman after completion of her studies. She never at any time think of becoming an actress.

Sajal鈥檚 outstanding career in serials on TV got her noticed by major players in the film industry both in Pakistan and India. Her first debut was in the film Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai; a love story where Feroze Khan played the role of her husband.

In 2017 she made a Bollywood debut in the film 鈥淢om鈥�. In the film she played the role of a teenager who does not get along with her step mother. The famous film star Adnan Siddiqui played the role of Sajal鈥檚 Father.

Sajal鈥檚 name was suggested to Boney Kapoor and his super star wife Sridevi by Hasseb Khan. She was contacted thereafter and travelled to Dubai to meet Boney Kapoor and his wife after which she was selected to play the role in the film.

Even though social media for a few years circulated news of Sajal鈥檚 marriage to her fellow actor Feroze Khan, it is yet another popular fellow actor Ahad Raza Mir that she married eventually.  In 2019 Sajal made an announcement that she was engaged to Ahad Raza Mir.

The couple got married in an intimate wedding that was held in Dubai in 2020. Sajal shared sensational pictures of the wedding in her Instagram page. Asif Raza Mir, a well-known actor and producer is her father-in-law.
