Fawad Afzal Khan is a Pakistani actor, producer, screenwriter, model, and singer who has received several awards including a Filmfare Award, three Lux style, and six Hum Awards.

Fawad Khan was born on November 29, 1981, in Pakistan. He began his career on the television sitcom, Jutt, and Bond.

Fawad formed an alternative rock band, Entity Paradigm, with the show’s co-stars and began his music career as its lead singer.

1. Fawad Khan is an amazing singer

It is well known that being an amazing singer, behind it there must be an amazing voice and message. Fawad Khan is a marvelous singer.

He formed an alternative rock band with others and began his music career as its lead singer. He gained immense popularity via this band.

After their song was selected they formed a collaboration with other Paradigm bands where they formed a track of “Jutt and Bond” which were chosen in the audition round of the competition, both the bands participated in the competition with the band name ” Entity paradigm”. The band was placed second in the competition.

2. Khan was offered a role in a Pakistani Sitcom( television)

At the age of 17, when Khan was performing in the Urdu adaptation of Spartacus play, a Pakistan television director spotted him. After almost two years of noticing him, he offered him a role in a Pakistani SITCOM” Jutt and Bond” in 2001in which he played the role of Bond. 

3. Fawad Khan has been Associated with Social work

Fawad has been associated with various social services. In the year 2015, Khan attended the Islamic Relief USA fundraiser in San Jose and Washington D.C to raise funds for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research center, Lahore, Pakistani.

He also funded Pakistani charitable organizations by attending various seminars.

They also attended a tree plantation event at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Peshawar, Pakistan.

4. Fawad and his wife launched a female clothing line

Fawad has walked the ramp for many Pakistan fashion designers like Munib Nawaz in 2010, Umar Sayeed in 2012, and for Republic by Omar Farooq in 2015.

In August 2012, Fawad and his wife launched a female clothing line known as “Silk by Fawad Khan”.

The debut collection of the clothing line was launched in Pakistan. The clothing has been extended to other countries outside Pakistan.

5. Fawad’s charming relationship with Sadaf

Fawad Khan’s wife is Sadaf. He was only about 16 years old when he was spellbound by Sadaf and crush on her.

His friends would tell him Sadaf was asking about his condition. It gave him the green signal that Sadaf might be thinking the same way as he was. Later they finally set up a meeting where he proposed to the most alluring woman who had occupied his heart.

This was the starting point of something really special. They faced hardships in getting into a relationship, his singing career was not appreciated by the Sadaf family.

At last, got the green signal from her family and approved them as a couple. He is happily married and celebrates his 17th anniversary in 2022.

6. He worked as Brand Ambassador for several Pakistani companies

He worked for many children’s charitable organizations and raised funds. In addition to this, Khan served as Brands ambassador for many Pakistani brands like Suzuki, Tapal Tea, Samsung, Pepsi, Zxsameen.com, Lux, Warid, Jazz, Telenor, Nestle, and much more.

He also worked s a model for many clothing brands i.e Umar Saeed and Muneeb Nawaz.

He continues to be the Chief Executive Officer  of the female clothing line ” Silk by Fawad Khan”

7. He is the first one from Pakistan to win a Filmfare Best Actor Award

Actor and national heartthrob Fawad Khan became the first Pakistan to win the prestigious Filmfare Award in the Best Male Debut category.

The 60th Filmfare Award was held to honor the best films of 2014 from the Hindi-language film industry at the Yash Raj Studio in Mumbai.

He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut at the Lux Style Awards in Karachi, hence becoming the first Pakistan male to win a Filmfare trophy.

8. He holds a degree in Software Engineering

The actor, Fawad Khan, studied at an American school, where he said he faced racial issues and was bullied because of his shy, calm, non-combative nature.

Khan passed him A level at the Lahore Grammar School, Johar Town and he received a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) in Lahore.

He could not find a job as a programmer and he ventured into acting.

9. Fawad Khan was ranked the fifth-most-popular Bollywood actor

Khan was ranked the most popular Bollywood Actor in November 2014 and was called the most popular Bollywood Actor in March 2016 by Times Celebrex.

Menxp ranked Khan 37th among its most popular Bollywood celebrities on the 2014 list.

He was the first Pakistan to appear on the cover of Filmfare Magazine, in September 2014, and again appeared on its cover in October 2015 and March 2016. Blitz Magazine featured Khan on its cover in 2016.

10. He was Diagnosed with Type1 Diabetes

 Khan was diagnosed with type1 diabetes at the age of 17. This was after an accident that destroyed his pancreas.

The accident occurred behind a swimming pool where Khan was scratched and jumped into untreated Water.

He later realized he had the disease when he lost ten kilograms of his body.

Fawad Khan will be remembered for all the awards and prevailing well in the entertainment industry since his debut and for adapting smoothly. He has put Pakistan on the map through acting and singing.
