The 8-kilometer moderately difficult stretch to the clifftop usually takes 4 to 5 hours to complete. The Pulpit Rock is another name for the Preikestolen.

2. The beach lifestyle

The Solastranden is located in the 43-mile-long Jaeren region. Summer is the best time to visit to take advantage of all of the activities and attractions mentioned above.

The picturesque mountains are dotted with the beauty of rockslides, polished cliffs, and fjords, which are abruptly replaced by relaxing green skerries and cultural landscapes at Ryfylke.

The 183-kilometer road passes through several villages and towns rich in Norwegian history and culture. Furthermore, the drive takes you through Norwegian industrial history, providing glimpses of both sporadic and radical changes that have occurred over time.

Such changes can be better understood at the Fossanmoen village in Ryfylke, a site with extensive remains from the Landa period, a remarkable and unique chapter in Norwegian history.

Aside from the steps, the Floral is famous for its hydropower history. The power station was built in 1918 as the first in Lyserfjord, with the turbine hall, built a year before it.

The old power hall houses a small exhibition at the ³¦²¹´Úé, which is only open during the summer. The turbine is 80 meters long, 12 meters tall, and 9 meters wide.

5. The Hengjanefossen’s Sweet and Pure Water

The Hengjanefossen can be seen rushing down from the ferry between Lysebotn and Forehand, 2.5 kilometers east of Preikestolen. Hengjanefossen, also known as the Hengjane waterfall, cascades down the fjord side from a height of 400 meters, putting on a spectacular show whether in full flow or gently flowing over the rocks.

Sightseeing boats and private yachts provide tourists with opportunities by boating up to the waterfall and allowing passengers to sample its sweet and pure water.
