Victor’s Block During Finals Electrifies The Crowd
The LNB Pro A Finals are underway with Wembanyama-led Metropolitans 92 going head-to-head with Monaco.
Such a fearsome rivalry with these two teams finishing the regular season at the top two with Monaco sitting at the top and Metropolitans 92 following a close second.
Game 1 of the finals played on June 10, 2023, saw Monaco get the best of Metropolitans 92 with a comfortable win of 87-64.
A severe thrashing befell Metropolitans 92 who even with a generational talent like Victor Wembanyama could not evade the wrath in-better form Monaco.
Monaco won all the first three quarters of the game with the fourth one being a good quarter for the Metropolitans.
The first half ended with a more than 30-point deficit at the expense of the Metropolitans 92. 52-21 at the first half whistle after the Metropolitans 92 only managed to score 6 points against 29 in the second quarter.
The unanimous star player of the game Victor Wembanyama whom all eyes are on every night struggled most of the game playing for 27 minutes and only managing to put up 8 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
Even for a person who has been averaging a double-double every game in the playoffs, this game seemed challenging for Wembanyama.
Despite all the shortcomings in the game, Wembanyama still got a chance to show the world why is the number one draft prospect in the 2023 NBA draft class.
Starting the game on a high note, Wembanyama delivered a masterful rejection for the opponent from the top-seed Monaco squad.

This was a highlight to start the game although things started falling apart as the game went on with everything now shattered in the second quarter.
With the fourth quarter being a redemption part for the Metropolitans 92 squad, they couldn’t pull up a comeback to eclipse Monaco thus the game ending at 87-64 at the expense of Metropolitans 92.
The highlight of the game and on Wembanyama however remained the rejection which he executed in a mastered way.
The 7’4” is usually the tallest person on the court and with every player possibly shorter than he is, he finds it not too hard to pull off a couple of blocks per game.
Victor has been averaging 3.1 blocks per game during the entire 2022-2023 season and this is just a taste of what’s to come when he joins the NBA.
Wembanyama is set to join the NBA as the first pick during June 22, 2023, NBA draft and the Spurs have got eyes on him.
But before then, we have to wait and see how the LNB Pro A finals play out.
Will Wembanyama lead the Metropolitans 92 to a comeback to win the championship?
