Siemens Mobility has recently completed a groundbreaking project in Â鶹APP just in time for the 2024 Olympic games. has reported that this cutting-edge system will whisk travelers from Orly Airport to the heart of the city in just 20 minutes. In 1998, Siemens Mobility and RATP (Régie autonome des transports Â鶹APPiens) collaborated to create Â鶹APP’ first automated metro line. Now, more than two decades later, they’ve reunited to enhance the city’s transportation network.

The recent replacement of the aging METEOR system, which served Line 14 of the Â鶹APP metro for 26 years, signifies a significant leap in automation technology. The advanced Trainguard MT CBTC GoA4 system has now taken its place.

Over the past six years, Siemens engineers worked tirelessly to implement this cutting-edge system. The line has become more efficient and reliable after doubling in length by 14 kilometers due to extensions in both the North and South directions.
