A man in New York City has been charged with hate crimes after being accused of harassing and assaulting at least five people in the city. Skiboky Stora, 40 has been carrying out anti-white, anti-female and antisemitic attacks according to prosecutors. 

Manhattan district attorney鈥檚 office revealed that Stora had been charged with one degree of stalking as a hate crime, three counts of third-degree assault as a hate crime and second-degree aggravated harassment concerning incidents that happened between September and March. 

One of the incidents that Stora is alleged to have done is that of Halley McGookin, who was assaulted in Manhattan in late March. Haley posted about the incident on Tiktok, which garnered over 50 million views. She said. 鈥淵ou guys, I was literally just walking and a man came up and punched me in the face. 鈥淥h, my God, it hurts so bad. I can鈥檛 even talk.鈥� 

Another case which happened in September last year involved a 17-year-old girl whom Mr Stora elbowed in the neck while she walked past him and said. 鈥淵ou people think you can do whatever you want.鈥� He is also accused of elbowing a 37-year-old woman in October 2023 and harassing a Jewish couple a month later after they confronted him for tearing down posters of kidnapped Israeli hostages.

Stora was arrested on 27th March and arraigned in court on Tuesday where he pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.

While speaking to reporters, Stora said that he believes the charges against him are retaliation for a lawsuit he filed against New York City Mayor Eric Adams. His next court date is in August.

This incident comes after Daquan Armstead was arrested last month for harassing eight people between March and April.
