TimeOut Global recently released a list of the 30 coolest streets in the world in 2024 and Lisbon’s Rua da Boavista is in the top 10. The list was formulated after the magazine’s global team of local expert contributors and editors chose the coolest streets in their cities. These were then narrowed down to a conclusive ranking of 30 best streets.

Rua da Boavista ranked seventh in a ranking led by High Street in Melbourne. It is located right next to the original Time Out Market, and is one of the highlights in Lisbon’s Cais do Sodre neighborhood. Although the latter has for long been known as a nightlife hotspot, it has undergone notable evolution in recent years to become a place to have family-friendly food hunts, brunch with friends, and local shopping.

Rua da Boavista has played a role in this with its unmissable cool shops and stores.
Whether one prefers to shop, dine or have wine, there is a good joint for that along this street.
