Meath’s leading amusement park and zoo, Emerald Park, has announced the opening of its newest attraction, Tír Na nÓg. The new world of mythical adventure is set to launch on Wednesday, 22 May 2024, offering attendees an adrenaline rush like no other.

Tír Na nÓg is a fully themed and immersive land based on the land of eternal youth from Irish mythology. Attendees will be able to embark on a journey into the otherworld full of mythical adventure, where nothing is quite as it seems. The park promises that visitors will discover ancient ruins, secret passages, and treasure troves around every corner.

The highlight of Tír Na nÓg will be two intertwining rollercoasters titled ‘Na Fianna Force’ and ‘The Quest’. These state-of-the-art rollercoasters are described as Europe’s longest intertwining steel rollercoasters, offering attendees a thrilling experience like no other.

The construction of these rollercoasters required a €22 million investment, making them one of the most expensive attractions in Emerald Park. The park’s management has expressed their excitement and anticipation for the launch of Tír Na nÓg, which they believe will attract visitors from far and wide.
