 The National Museum of Ireland has been selected to host the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, which will take place from March 15 to 18. This four-day festival will showcase the best of Ireland’s arts, culture, and heritage, with thousands of visitors expected to attend one of Dublin’s most popular festivals.

March 16, visitors can enjoy a range of activities suitable for families and guests of all ages at the National Museum of Ireland. There will be plenty of food and entertainment options available, with Bia Mall showcasing the best of Irish cuisine for food enthusiasts.

On March 17, visitors can join the parade that will commence at noon from Parnell Square North and will pass by the GPO, O’Connell Bridge, Westmoreland Street, and Christchurch Cathedral before concluding at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin 8. After the parade, visitors can enjoy a variety of events featuring live music, queer performances, and electrifying DJ sets. The host of the night events is Cultúr Club’s Mother, who will lead celebrations of Irish LGBTQ+ culture in style. Other night activities include drag shows and céilí dance parties, which are sure to be special experiences for all revellers.

The St. Patrick’s Festival at Festival Quarter will come to a grand conclusion with a full day of free festivities starting from noon until 10:30 pm. The event will feature a variety of highlights, including the world-famous Céilí Mór, which will showcase the best of Irish music talent. Additionally, there will be a vibrant lineup of bands and artists performing on the Rí Rá Bandstand. Visitors can also retreat to An Tigín for traditional Irish snug vibes and live music.
