Chelsea stars Reece James and  Mason Mount Ruled OUT for the rest of the season

Chelsea’s Reece James and Mason Mount will miss the rest of the Premier League season due to injuries, according to interim manager Frank Lampard. The two have suffered difficulties during the season, and it appears unlikely that they will play again.

It is a major blow for the Blues, who are seeking to finish the season on a high following a difficult few months in terms of results. The team will attempt to get back on track against Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, but the double blow has been compounded by the news that Kai Havertz will also miss the game.

Lampard told the media: “Reece James unavailable. Probably for the season. Mason Mount is probably the same. Potential for the last game but probably not. Kai won’t be available tomorrow.”

Fellow England international Mount has suffered plenty of injuries this season too, with an ongoing pelvic problem plaguing his season. Another injury means that the club’s two-time player of the season, who has failed to get his season underway at any point, is set to miss out on another appearance while speculation mounts over his future.
