Rome’s Baubeach is now open for dog lovers and owners across the city and country at large. This famous spot offers a safe and large sandy playground for these men’s best friends. The beach opened on May 4 and will remain open for a visit until the end of September. It will be an amazing summertime on the beach for the dogs, their owners, and admirers.
The Baubeach, located in the western region of the eternal city near Fiumicino airport, has been in operation for more than two decades. The seven thousand-square-meter stretch boasts of being the first beach in the country that was opened exclusively for dogs.
According to Wanted in Rome, every dog owner is expected to pay a membership fee of twelve euros for the entire period. There will also be an entry fee of four euros for dogs, with a one-euro discount for dogs that have been adopted from kennels.
While on the beach, the dog owners will have enough space to relax under the umbrellas as they watch their favorite canines play around the beach. The dogs can begin running on the beach from as early as nine o’clock in the morning to late in the evening.
Note that the dogs remain the owners’ responsibilities throughout their stay at the beach. Therefore, if you are a dog lover or owner in Rome, whether visiting or living in the city, make sure to visit the Baubeach for an exclusive experience with dogs.
