Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel has launched a new afternoon tea experience, ‘Poetry and Places’, that combines Ireland’s literary heritage with its stunning landscapes. The experience takes guests on a poetic journey where each bite tells a tale, celebrating Ireland’s lush scenery and famous poets.

The event crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Sebastian Ritzen and his team, features ten unique cakes and pastries inspired by Ireland’s literary sites, evoking the country’s beauty. Each pastry has a line of poetry introducing local folktales, taking guests from the west coast’s rugged cliffs to the east’s verdant hedgerows.

They also have sandwiches, freshly baked scones, artisan preserves, and signature confections like the Battenberg cake and the Guinness Storehouse. Executive Chef Gareth Mullins has collaborated with artisanal producers across the nation to handpick small-batch delicacies and curate a selection of the finest ingredients that reflect the unique terroir of Ireland.

The tea menu is from 16 varieties of Ronnefeldt blends, served in elegant Wedgewood china. Among them are three exclusive blends: Cherry Cheesecake, Irish Chocolate Cream, and Irish Whiskey Cream. Seasonal flavours are also introduced periodically according to .

The ‘Poetry and Places’ experience is available daily from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Marker Bar & Lounge or on the Terrace, weather permitting, for $69 per person ($106 with Bollinger Rosé Champagne).
