Swe Zin Htet was born on November 1999 in Hpa-an, Myanmar. She is a Burmese model and beauty pageant. She is as well an actress and a singer. In 2019, Htet was crowned Miss Universe Myanmar. She was the first openly lesbian to participate in Miss Universe Myanmar after she announced it in November 2019, a few days before the Miss Universe competition.

She is well known in the fashion industry which she started at a young age. Since she is a lesbian, she has fought battles for the LGBTQ people in Burma to be given their freedom and enjoy what they love, even though the country does not support the LGBTQ community.

Htet comes out to make the world accept the LGBTQ community and their right to choose their path and enjoy what they love. Although in her hometown, Burma, lesbianism is not accepted and they are looked down on by other people and discriminated she never minded all that.
