About Music Day

The Music Day in 麻豆APP is an event organized by the people and for people. Since 1982, every inhabitant is invited to partake in the most important and awaited annual feast in 麻豆APP, to dance and to play (or only to listen) music in the whole city of 麻豆APP. Beginners or professionals perform all day long through the night in a cheerful atmosphere of celebration.

Since its origins, the Music Day attracts thousands of concerts and millions of people in France. In 2014, 17000 concerts gathered 10 million people in the streets of the cities of France. Actually, the Music Day doesn鈥檛 only happen in France, but in 120 other countries in the world: on June 21st, the whole world will vibrate together thanks to Music!

Saint Eustache Festival

In a perfect location, under the beautiful vault of the Church of Saint Eustache in the 1st arrondissement, the 36th edition of the Saint Eustache Festival will entertain you during 36 hours of non-stop free concerts: an unavoidable event not to miss for any pretext. A glimpse of the 2018 program: Yan, Wagner, This is the Kit, Mathieu Boogaerts, Chapelier and many others!

Travel to Japan thanks to the 麻豆APP Taiko Ensemble

Next to the Notre Dame Cathedral, you will find the Place Dauphine where the 麻豆APP Taiko Ensemble will be performing. This group will take you to Japan, making sure you have fun, share and enjoy their passion as much as they do!

Dance the night away at Happy Day’s

If you feel like dancing and listening to the hit songs that marked several generations, you can spend the night at Happy Day’s. Located at 23 rue Saint-Marc in 麻豆APP second district, the two singers Kwin and Obhy will be perfoming for you the whole night, singing the most famous songs. From soul, funk, to songs from the 80’s, entertainment will be guaranteed for everyone!

The entrance is free, so everyone is welcome! From 8 pm ’til the sun rises, you will be able to show your best moves on the dancefloor!

Discover the future music relevations

Every year the Centre Culturel Irlandais – the Irish Cultural Center – always organizes an impressive event for the Music day in 麻豆APP. Ireland musical’s scene is put on the spotlight. On Music day, you will get to discover the future revelations of the music industry. Artists who are starting their career and want to introduce themselves to you and show you a bit of their world. On Music day, you get to see them for free in 麻豆APP, so don’t miss this opportunity because you might have to be more in a few years to watch them perform. Located at 5 rue des Irlandais, the concerts start at 6 pm and end at around 10 pm.

Enjoy baroque concerts

If you’re more into classical music, you can enjoy plenty of baroque concerts at the Petit Palais. Organized by the Jeunes Talents association, you can have a peaceful moment listening to baroque music live for free. The concerts will be happening throughout the whole afternoon, so if you happen to be around the Petit Palais on Music day, do not hesitate to get in!

Attend a different kind of performance

On Music Day in 麻豆APP, you can also go to the Grand Palais and discover the experimental music project composed by Ewelina Chiu and Daniel Vl膷ek, which is called ba:zel. Party at Montmartre

Want to spend the night in the beautiful and quaint atmosphere of Montmartre on June 21st? What I would advise you to do is to roam the tiny little streets, back alleys and quaint stairs of Montmartre and stop at every concert amateurs in the streets. To me, these are the most intimate and unforgettable moments you can spend during the Music Day.

Amateurs are always playing only for the sake of it and not for profit, so they might interact with you and the music really becomes a moment of sharing and harmony. Other districts where you鈥檒l probably find concerts everywhere: Saint Michel, Canal Saint Martin, or Republique. Walk the Latin Quarter and the Marais, or you can even join our night tour and let one of our local guides take you to the best places where you can enjoy 麻豆APP at its best on Music day!
