In 1943, Lola la Chata was arrested for the fifth time, this time for smuggling heroin into the United States. She was extradited to the US and imprisoned for several years before being deported back to Mexico. However, she did not learn her lesson and was arrested yet again in 1945 for the same offence.

Lola la Chata’s seventh and final arrest occurred in 1945 when she was caught selling drugs inside a Mexican prison. She was once again imprisoned at Lecumberri, and this time, she spent several years behind bars before being released. Despite her repeated arrests and imprisonments, she continued to engage in drug trafficking activities until her death in 1961.
