This is your go-to casual spot for fine seafood and fish tacos! What stands out for this restaurant is the pre-Hispanic cooking technique used.

It’s all about tacos! To be specific, northern tacos. It serves some of the best tacos al pastor and salsas in the city. You get to choose from 3 types but all are well made. The Orinoco fried potatoes are a great snack plus the sauces. You have to pay first. They serve ice cream and yogurt too. Take away available.

This is a small comfy Italian restaurant tucked away in the local Centro Santa Fe Mall. After the hustle and bustle of shopping, it’s a rare spot to grab a meal in a bit of peace of quiet.

You almost forget you’re in a busy mall. The menu is extensive offering great Italian cuisine. They offer you warm bread with butter and roasted garlic as a treat as you wait for your ordered dish.

The place is small but comfy. There are a few tables outside if you prefer to sit out. There is also a small bar.

10. Lalo

This is a fantastic casual spot for brunch in the Roma neighborhood. The graffiti décor gives it a funky vibe. The chef, Eduardo Garcia owns the popular Maximo Bistrot Local just across the street.

For breakfast, the menu offers a lot to choose from; scrambled eggs, homemade granola, French toast, buttermilk pancakes with seasoned butter, and a sandwich. Try the Bianca pizza with caramelized onion and thyme for lunch, or fish and chips with a friend.

Prices might be high compared to other spots around here but worth it if you find the place as great!
