Ayelet Zurer was born on 28 June 1969. She was raised in Tel Aviv, Israel to a secular Jewish family of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. She is an actress. She was nominated for awards at the Jerusalem Film Festival, [the Israeli Academy Awards, and film awards for excellence in the Israeli film Industry.] Her mother who was born in Czechoslovakia immigrated t Israel in the 1950s. her father is of Russian-Jewish descent. 1. She was part of the series Daredevil crew

Marvel’s Daredevil is an American series whose first season was released on Netflix on 10 April 2015, the second on 18 March 2016, and the third season on 10 October 2018. The series was created by Drew Goddard specifically for the streaming service Netflix. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Daredevil.

Ayelet Zurer is among the Cast of the series. She portrays Vanessa Marianna-Fisk. In the series, she is an art gallery employee who, unlike the comic version, knows of and accepts Wilson Fisk’s true dealings and eventually Marries him.

2. She served in the Israel Defence Forces

Like other Israel teenagers who attained the age of 18 years, that is after high school, Ayelet also joined the Israel Defence Forces. Zurer was a soldier in the military band which provided martial music (a specific genre of music intended to use in military settings performed by professional soldiers called field musicians)

This kind of music was sung during official events of state and military ceremonies. Zurer was eligible to join the band because the ban consist of musicians and singers who passed the auditions prior to their enlistment for compulsory service. She served in the military for 24 months ( 2 years).

3. She is married

After being friends for so long, Ayelet decided to date his surfing instructor who is also an Israeli, Gilad Londovski. The two decided to tie the knot in 2003 and they became a family after a long friendship. They have a son and they live in Los Angeles, United States.

4. She won the Gold Nymph Award

She became an outstanding Actress in the Drama “Hostages” where she took the role of the mother. The series was the best also in the ward at the 54th annual Golden Nymph ceremony in Monaco beating “The House of Cards”

The Hostages is a ten-episode series created by Rotem Shamir and Omri Shivon. It was broadcast on Israel’s Channel 10. It’s about the Danon family members who are kidnapped and held hostage by four people and get caught in a political conspiracy.

Ayelet Zurer who is cast as the mother is an esteemed surgeon who is ordered by kidnappers to kill the Prime Minister on the operating table in order to save the lives of her husband and children. Do you think she did kill the Priem Minister, the Series should be on the search list by now.

5. Modelling is also Ayelet’s passion

She has collaborated with multiple enticing, reputed, and renowned brands. She has worked with Golbary, a fashion company. The Actress though filed a lawsuit in 2016 against Golbary because the brand breached their contract which was still in effect and used her health status as an excuse for her unfitness in the modeling industry. She demanded NIS 500 000. She also worked at GOLf as a model.

6. Her mother was rescued during World War II

The mother is a holocaust survivor hiding in a convent in Slovakia.  The Holocaust is also known as the Shoah. It was the genocide of European Jews during World War II between 1941-45. Nazi Germany and its collaborations systematically murdered six million Jews across Geran-occupied Europe.

The murders were carried out in pogroms and mass shootings. Ayelet’s mother, also a Jew was among the lucky victims of the genocide on the run, where the convent saved her.

7. Ayelet modeled in Japan while she was in college

What do you do in the summer holidays?  Well, according to am always uploading interesting travel blogs, I can sincerely say that’s my hobby because that my travel also as I get to explore many things that I was unaware of before.

Well about Ayelet, while she was in college, she happened to go to Japan during the 2009 May summer. The Actress attended the “Angels & Demons” Japan Premiere at Marunouchi Building in Tokyo, Japan on the 7th of the same month. She modeled at the event, and also delivered a speech.

8. She won the Ophir Award

During the 24th Haifa International Film Festival, the Tel Aviv-born actress Ayelet zurer was in attendance f the local premiere of her film” Fugitive Pieces. She was introduced by Jeremy Podeswa who was the director. He said, ” The nicest thing I have to do here tonight is to introduce not your Ayelet Zurer, but the world’s Ayelet Zurer.

She won the award as the most outstanding Israeli actress who not only ventured her career in the States but also moved back to her country so as to take roles in local movies.

9. She starred in BeTipul

BeTipul is an Israeli television drama revolving around the personal and professional life of Israeli psychologist, Reuven Dagan, played by Assi Dayan.

The series’ first season won all the Israel Academy Awards for drama Series, including Best Drama Series, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Zurer was given the Best Actress award for the splendid play in her role as Na’ama Lerner.
