I don’t think Madame Tussauds had anyone specifically in mind when these wax museums were set into motion. Whether you’re one year old or one hundred years old, if you enjoy wax art, you are welcome.

The Shrek Adventure in London is a similar feat. It’s primary goal is the entertainment of young ones but parents enjoy tagging along very much. It’s an immersive, 4D world created to swallow all attendees right into the land of Shrek.

The staff are very good at making sure every second of the experience is pure bliss. There are rides for people of all ages and many guided walking tours within the Shrek land, so bare this in mind when dressing for the occasion.

Something to note: There are incredibly loud, overwhelming sounds as part of this production. This is not for everyone and needs to be taken into consideration prior to arrival.

The Eye will take families up into the sky for a three hundred and sixty degree, unobstructed panoramic view of the city and outlying lands. It’s very much a bucket list experience; one would not get these same expansive views even from the window seat of an airplane flying over the city.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London

Perhaps the most important family-friendly franchise to shake the world was the Harry Potter books and films.

London, being the setting for both the literature and movies, holds on very tightly to its role in the fandom. There are guided walking tours and taxi journeys one can take all over the city that will point out specific attractions pertaining to the Wizarding World.

The studio tour will immerse you into the fictional world that was brought to life by the most skilled set designers and artists from around the world. You can’t imagine how realistic this is until you’re in it. A must for families, couples, friends and even solo travelers.

London Duck Tours in London

The London Duck Tours have become the more family appealing alternative to the big red busses that take one through London’s streets.

What makes these torus so appealing to both adults and children is that the yellow busses double as boats. You’ll be driven in and out of the Thames water, alternating between water tours and land tours.
