Even if you’re on vacation, it can still be nice to get your body moving. If you are a gym fanatic back at home, or you simply want to stay active during your holiday, we don’t blame you. After all, you will probably be eating a lot of Sunday Roasts, pastries, and “baps” in the United Kingdom. Plus, drinking pints of Smithwick’s day in and day out is not conducive to a healthy diet!
Work off some of those vacation calories by finding an outdoor workout park in London. Although the weather is not always cooperative — we are talking gray skies and rain a lot of the time! — Londoners still find a way to work out all year round. Gyms are extremely popular here, with locals flocking to chain gyms and boutique fitness studios before and after a long workday.
The good thing about being a tourist is that you can go to outdoor workout parks or outdoor gyms during off-peak times. Check out some of the best spots for a sunny day to break a sweat and feel good about yourself.
