Camilla Parker-Bowles was born July 17, 1947, at King’s College Hospital, London, England. She is the Queen of the United Kingdom and the other 14 Commonwealth realms since she is the wife to King Charles III.
She was raised in East Sussex and South Kensington in England and was educated in England, Switzerland, and France.
She was married to a British Army officer known as Andrew Parker Bowles and they were blessed with two children namely Tom and Laura, later in 1995, they divorced. She was then married again in 2005 by Charles in the Windsor Guildhall.
She loves doing charity work and she is the patron and president of several charity organizations. She has well-inherited Charity organizations which the late Queen Elizabeth was leading. Camilla has campaigned to raise awareness of osteoporosis since 1994 and she has earned many honours and awards due to this.

1. She Had Many Titles Before Queen Consort
When Queen Elizabeth died Camilla gained the title of Queen Consort. Before this title, she had other several titles and they were complex.
When she married Charles who was Prince of Wales then, she was entitled to use the style ‘Her Royal Highness’ and gained the title Duchess of Cornwall.
She was also known as the Duchess of Rothesay when in Scotland and had two Foreign Orders; Order of the Star of Melanesia 2012 and the Grand-Croix, Order Nationale du Merite 2014 among others.
2. She Does a lot of Charity Work
Camilla has been doing a lot of charity work for people since her marrying Charles in 2005. She is the patron or president of more than 90 charities, a great achievement and kindness.
Camilla deals with and supports charities focused on health and literacy such as supporting victims of rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence; empowering women; food, animals and heritage and the arts.
The Queen as well inherited some of the late Queen Elizabeth’s charities such as Barnardo’s, Battersea Dogs ad Cats Home and The Royal School of Needlework.

7. She Dislikes Traveling and She is Afraid to Fly
Even though the Queen has a busy schedule that requires her to travel from one place to another she dislikes travelling. She even said she prefers to garden than travelling.
In addition, Camilla is afraid of flights and the phobia prevented her from travelling to several locations around Australia and the South Pacific with King Charles. Due to her flying phobia, Queen opted out of the additional travel during the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane and Australia.
It is surprising for a Queen to dislike travelling and her duties require it. According to Express, Camilla uses a tapping method called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help her overcome the stress of flying.
8. Her Engagement Ring is a Historic
When King Charles was still a Prince, he proposed to Camilla with an art deco design ring that features five-carat emerald cut diamond baguettes on each side with a gold band.
The ring looked stunning and it also has historical significance. Camilla’s ring once belonged to the Queen’s mother who was King Charles’s grandmother. Camilla also likes to wear Greville Tiara which also belonged to the Queen’s mother.
9. She Loves Dogs
Queen Consort Camilla loves dogs and she owns some dogs. In the year 2011, she adopted a Jack Russell Terrier puppy known as Beth, and it was her first rescue pup from a shelter. When she realized Beth was lonely, she adopted another Jack Russell dog in 2012 named Bluebell.
For the love of the dogs, she was able to watch the dogs give demonstrations in sniffing out various diseases. In addition, Camilla is a patron of the charity Medical Detection Dogs. She has well visited the pups and their trainers in February 2019 and helped to open their new facility.

The trade mag Footwear News reported that the Queen has been wearing the classic shoes since 2005 when she was married to Charles and that the shoes are no longer available for purchase.
