It’s Liverpool’s first ever street food market. Baltic Market is situated on the redeveloped Cains Brewery site.
Every week, from Thursday through to Sunday, dabble and sample the very best of Liverpool’s independent foodie vendors give a delicious taste of the city’s ever-growing indie food scene. Set in one of the warehouses of the old Cains Brewery in the Baltic Triangle. it’s the perfect addition to the up-and-coming trendy part of town that everyone wants a piece of when they come to visit.
The food vendors change all the time but expect everything from stone baked pizzas, halloumi fries, incredible fried chicken, a dessert bar, gin bar and everything else in between. On a Saturday night there is usually a live band providing the music or their resident DJ sharing the tunes.
The Baltic Market regularly hosts arts & crafts and farmer’s markets, so every weekend is different from the last.
2. Have a look on the Baltic Market
It appeared ‘out of nowhere’ back in 2017. The Baltic Triangle ‘Wings’ quickly became the most popular street art in Liverpool. The Wings was created by local artist, Paul Curtis the huge artwork allows people to transform themselves into an iconic Liver Bird.

4. Visit the Peaky Blinders bar in Baltic Triangle
Peaky Blinders bar in Liverpool’s Cains Brewery Village is a must-visit for all fans of the Birmingham based, Liverpool filmed gangster epic. It is located within the Baltic Triangle of Liverpool, a former industrial hub, you’ll find Beer Mongers on the warehoused street of Stanhope Street, surrounded by numerous converted bars occupying the former brewery site.
The 500 capacity bar takes full advantage of its rustic brewery characteristics and is fully 1920s themed and spread across 2 large floors. Inside you’ll find Victorian fixtures, giant copper vats and typical Peaky décor throughout.
Choose from fine wines and spirits, cocktails and a collection of carefully selected draught and bottled beers often accompanied by an eclectic soundtrack and live music.
5. Take on your friends at a round of Ghetto Golf
The place that has a seriously twisted 18 hole mini golf experience, an exceptional cocktail bar, top local DJs and captivating graffiti artwork throughout. Now this, is crazy golf.
An ode to the origins of street art, Ghetto Golf – set in the old Cains Brewery Village right in the center of all of the action in the Baltic Triangle – combines a love for graffiti with the need for a good time. If you’re hoping to find something unique that you can wow your mates with back home, you’ve come to the right place.
With great food served from the likes of Apocalypse Cow, you can spend a good few hours here without needing to leave. BBQ Street food using only hand selected USD grade brisket as well as heavenly cheeses, tofu and fish for those not on the carnivore scale, we say that a trip to the Baltic Triangle should never be without a trip to Ghetto Golf.
6. spend an afternoon playing board games at Sugar and Dice.
This is a brilliant place. There is a fantastic selection of games. So much to choose from. The food and drink is perfect. All freshly made and great value. Such a lovely place to enjoy time with family and friends.
Sugar and Dice charge a small cover charge of £2.50 per hour, per person. This caps at £6 for up to 4 hours of fun. Children aged 5-8 are half price, and for those under 5’s, it is just £1 to play.
If you are just popping in for something to eat / drink, but not playing games, this cover charge does not apply. Any food or drink is added to a tab, and you pay for everything together at the end.
7. Explore and have fun at Baltic Skate Park
The Baltic Skate Park is located behind the recreation fields off River Street by the Shetucket River. Open until 10 pm or when the lights are turned off. No fee.
It is a place to hang out with likeminded people, practice your skills, and enjoy a day of outdoor recreation.
