He is a Liberian Nobel Peace Prize award-winning peace activist responsible for leading a women’s nonviolent movement in Liberia that later helped in the ending of the brutal civil war in Liberia. Leymah Gbowee has been a tireless advocate of peace and nonviolence from a young age.
With her assistance in ending the civil war and volunteering her time to mentor and guide hundreds of Liberian youth, she shows the meaning of a true influential Liberian icon. There is no doubting the fact that Madam Leymah Gbowee is a heroine of peace.
3. Gregory Frank Artus is a Liberian actor, director, and producer
Gregory Frank Artus was born on May 4, 1979. He is popularly known as Frank Artus, a Liberian actor, director, and producer in the West Film Industry. He has filmed over 100 movies to date.
Frank Artus has received several awards including the “Best International Actor” award at the 2012 African Academy Awards and the “Humanitarian Figure” award from the Continental Award Committee for his contributions to the fight against Ebola.
Frank Artus is currently the President of the Liberia Movie Union, an earned title because he is known for producing quality work and empowering his fellow Liberian actors/actresses.

She currently serves in the 54th Legislature as the honorable representative of District #9 Montserrado County. We have critically observed Rep. Munah over the years finding her helpful, and influential and serving as an inspiration to many hardworking females in Liberia today.
Representative Munah E Pelham is the founder of the Walter Pelham Memorial Humanitarian & Educational Foundation and co-owner of the Liberia Vocational Institute.
To this day, Ms. Pelham remains one of the youngest Liberians to become a seating representative. Ms. Pelham is indeed a virtuous, influential woman.

He is one of the most well-recognized musicians in Liberia with a total number of ten (10) awards from several prestigious entities. He has made significant contributions to the industry of Liberia and has contributed to the rise of several different well-respected artists.
His newly released album (1994) broke boundaries and was the first album released by a Liberian artist with so many international features. CIC is indeed an influential musician.

Tuzee Toure was born on April 15, 1996. He is a popular human rights activist, student, and socialite. Tuzee has been an influence on the youth, especially the young kids in Liberia for a couple of years now.
She uses her huge online following to advocate for rape victims; also against domestic violence and corruption within Liberia. In addition, she raises awareness on any and every ongoing issue within our society.
Tuzee has engaged in several initiatives to bring Liberia’s youthful population together including a weekly reading session with community youth. Tuzee also showed off her intelligence at the “Face of Paynesville” event where she nearly snatched the crown for being talented, intelligent, and creative.
Tuzee’s outspoken nature and her willingness to assist others prove that she is indeed a young woman in Liberia whom many should emulate. Tuzee is indeed one of the most influential youth in Liberia.
7. Mai Urey was the pioneer of the Internet in Liberia
Mai Urey was born on February 14, 1962. She is the wife of the successful businessman, Benoni Urey. Together, they managed to build one of the largest livestock and vegetable farms in Liberia called, Wulki Farm.
Mai Urey, in her early career, was the pioneer of the Internet in Liberia, being the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) via her company Data Technology Solutions, Inc. As you all know, today the Internet is a huge source of communication, and promotion and provides information for several different necessities in Liberia.
Thanks to Mrs. Mai Urey for making all this possible. In addition to that, she also started U-Foundation during the Ebola outbreak which helped over 5,000 Ebola victims and people that were at risk of getting infected with the Ebola virus. With all these achievements under her sleeves, it’s safe to say Mai Urey is indeed influential.

Richelieu Dennis is one of the richest men in the world. Richelieu is a Liberian businessman and he has managed to make a great name for himself internationally in the field of business. He is not only the CEO of the well know the brand, Shea Butter, but he also recently acquired the respectable and internationally renowned, Essence Magazine, to help expand his brand.
He is the founder and Ceo of sundial brands. Richelieu Dennis is probably the only Liberian multi-millionaire and to this date, he continues to expand his brand. He has also become renowned for his humanitarian work with women and underprivileged individuals. Mr. Dennis’ hard work and rise to being one of the richest men in the world are indeed influential.
9. Augustina Kou Monpleh is the CEO/founder of the first-ever Liberian blog
Augustina Kou Monpleh was born on September 9. She is the CEO/founder of the first ever Liberian blog “Liberian Star Views”.
Her consistency in promoting the art and culture of Liberia since 2005 has been an inspiration to many including a few influencers. Augustina started a new trend and brand in Liberia.
Since establishing her blog, she has launched the “Liberian Star Views” magazine as well as her clothing line, “Shop. Kou”. Augustina continues to be influential in the entertainment industry as she pioneers new trends and remains relevant in the industry after a decade of hard work. She is indeed influential.
10. Tamba Hali is a Liberian-born retired American football linebacker
Tamba Hali was born on November 3, 1983. Her full name is Tamba Boimah Hali, is a Liberian-born retired American football linebacker. He played American football for Kansas City Chiefs for 11 years where he won several different trophies.
Tamba is also a managing partner and financier for a modern automatic poultry farm. Since his retirement, he has been an inspiration to his fans encouraging them not to be limited to one destiny.
Tamba has now transitioned into the music world where he has managed to feature several international artists including Runtown, as well as Liberian artists like Pillz. His rise to fame in the Liberian entertainment industry has gained him a Liberian Entertainment Awards nomination. Presently, he not only records music but he is also a songwriter and a producer.
