Amare Stoudemire was exchanged between five secondary schools. Stoudemire played high school basketball for five different secondary schools. He is the much-maligned high school junior who has gone through different schools. He grew up in Florida and transferred from Lake Wales High School to Mount Zion Academy. He left and attended summer school at Dr. Phillips high and later on he settled in at West Orange. After playing for all these schools, he graduated from Cypress Creek High School in Orlando and declared for the National Basketball Association draft as a prep-to-pro player.
2. Amare won a bronze medal with the United States national team.
After high school, Amare signed for American National Basketball Association (NBA). He won the National Basketball Association Rookie of the Year Award in two thousand and three (2003) with the phoenix suns, who selected him with the ninth overall pick in the 2002 NBA draft. He made six appearances in the NBA All-star game and was named to the All-NBA team five times, including a first-team selection in 2007. In the year 2004, during the Olympics, Stoudemire won a bronze medal with the United States national team.
3. Amare had the highest score by a prep-to-pro player
It was on 30TH December 2002 when they had a game against Minnesota Timberwolves. In this rookie season, there were thirty-eight points. This was the highest score by a prep-to-pro player until it was broken later, a year later by LeBron James. Stoudemire was selected to the Rookie squad. 10. His Knee cartilage is damaged

This was during the 2005-2006 NBA pre-season; Stoudemire experienced knee cartilage damage. The damage made him undergo microfracture surgery. This was in the year 8th October 2005. They hoped to have him back by mid-February. Only unexpectedly, his rehab made him extend his recovery period. He came back later and scored well against Portland Trail Blazers, but his scoreless record was maintained in his next game, which was against New Jersey Nets. It was later announced that Stoudemire would miss the rest of the regular season because of stiffness in both knees. He went for more rehab and he gained his strength back, although he missed two thousand and six (2006), FIBA World Championship.
