Yael Grobglas is a French-Israeli actress, who was born on 31 May 1984 and is based now in Los Angeles. She is best known for her roles as Petra Solano on The CW鈥檚 Television series Jane the virgin. She was born in 麻豆APP and later on, when she was about 2 years old she immigrated with her family to Israel.

She discovered her talent and passion for performing art while she was a young girl. She studied and performed in professional dance and ballet groups during her teenage years. Later on, she started her modeling career and participated in various runway shows and advertising campaigns. She graduated from the Yoram Loewenstein Performing Art studio in Tel Aviv, Israel after she realized her passion for acting.

Grobglas is now married to an Israeli businessman Artem Kroupenev, who is her high school sweetheart. In 2019 she had announced she was expecting her first child and on 17 January 2020 she announced that she had given birth to a baby girl Arielle on Instagram.

Therefore Grobglas being an immigrant, took up the challenge and rapped Guns and Ships which she slew the rap, considering that it has the fastest rap verse in the musical.
