Top 10 Facts about Cole Sprouse

Cole Mitchell Sprouse is a phenomenal male actor who traces his roots in Arezzo, Italy. Though born in Italy, his American parents, Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright, are both of American descent.

He has a twin brother named Dylan Sprouse. Cole Sprouse is fifteen minutes younger than his twin brother. These are some of the facts that you did/did not know about Cole Sprouse. 

1. Cole Sprouse was introduced to the film industry when he was eight months old

Cole together with his brother, started off their acting career when they were at the age of eight months. This move was brought forth by their grandmother, Jonine Booth Wright who had an experience or two on the industry. 

She was a drama teacher and actress. Some of the earliest roles Cole Sprouse got to share with his brother was in baby commercials.  

2. Cole Sprouse is a fan of video games

Despite Cole basing his life into the film industry, he is also a great fan of video games. He together with his brother are fond of video games and at times would spare their free time just to have their fingers jotting across a console. 

One of his favorite games is “Dungeons and Dragons”, a game which premiered in 1974. Cole expresses that he later on came to find out that the game is mainly aimed at nerds as they are the ones that are fond of the game. I guess great minds think alike, don’t you think?

3. Cole Sprouse is also talented in photography

Apart from him being a well-known actor, he is also well conversant with photography and the lenses. Cole amicably likes to capture the serene nature around him and express the visuals on a photo. 

Cole further admits that photography gives him the necessary tranquility needed. His pictures can be greatly seen in his Instagram account and short captions jotted below the pictures.  He also has another account whereby he posts his artworks. 

4. Cole Sprouse once had a crush on an actress while on set

When he was young, Cole featured in one of the arguably best sitcoms shows “F.R.I.E.N.D.S”. He acted as Ben, the son to Ross. The actor admits that he had a really time expressing out his lines as he worked with the beautiful actor, Aniston.

He further says that the actress would make her feel all bubbly and at times his mind would go blank. This feeling to him was love as the actress was also super friendly to him. 

5. Cole Sprouse’s mother forced him into art and acting

At first, Cole did not have any zeal whatsoever to pursue arts and acting at large. His mother had seen  the talent the young lad possessed in the screens and pushed him into acting.

Cole never saw acting as a career. Thanks to his mother’s profound effort, Cole Sprouse became an actor everybody watches and even some admire his artwork.

6.Cole Sprouse once took an intermission from acting while he was attending college

A break, either long or short, is necessary for once’s life to cope on smoothly. Cole together with his brother decided to take an hiatus while studying do to a variety of reasons with some not clearly known

One of the main reasons they decided to partake in such a serious move was that they wanted to have a wider perception of life and the industry at large.

Cole also wanted to prove to people who look up to him that he too had gone through something that was quite challenging and difficult. Luckily, he got the much needed comfort from education. 

7. Cole Sprouse is a stern hater of Donald Trump

The actor did not in any way agree with the former president’s ideologies and rule of government.  He shows his utter distaste of the former President by freely expressing it via social media. 

One of his tweets says “Your brand is not in jeopardy by public opposition to Trump. Your nation is in jeopardy without it.”

8. Cole Sprouse received a  series script while working at an archaeology lab

His manager sent him the script of “Riverdale” while he was busy working at an archaeology lab. Though positive he would get a role in a certain character, the script proved him otherwise as he was given a totally different character.

Despite him reading about the character he was sure he would get, he was confident to take on the different role that he was given.  

9. Cole Sprouse is an international brand ambassador

Cole together with his twin basically do almost everything together. They were ushered in to become international ambassadors of the Koyamada International Foundation. 

This foundation was established in 2008 by Shin Koyamada, aimed at empowering young adults and promoting eco friendly practises. Cole together with his brother were appointed for they showed the passion to make the world a better place. 

10. Cole Sprouse is fond of smoking 

In one instance or another, Cole has been seen smoking and this is not a shocking thing in the modern day world. This helps him to feel a sense of relief and gives him a self of belonging.

But remember, smoking is not a cool thing to do but abstaining is. 

Cole Sprouse shows that acting is truly a wonderful career only if effort and consistency are put to practice. Cole is a talented and diverse actor who also cares about the earth’s ecosystem.
