Marzia Bisognin Kjellberg is an Italian Internet personality, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. She is popularly known online as Marzia or by her previous social media handle CutiePieMarzia. She is also known for dating and later getting married to a popular YouTuber PewDiePie whose real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg.  

She rose to prominence from her now-inactive YouTube channel having been deactivated in late 2018. She went into writing, fashion, and business.

1. Marzia Always Had An Interest In Fashion

Marzia was born on 21st October 1992 in Arzignano, Vicenza, Italy. She is the daughter of Marziano and Franca Bisognin. She has one older brother, Davide Bisognin who is her role model and friend. The Bisognin family is a close-knit one.  

When Marzia was 13 years old, her family moved away from where she grew up. She faced some rough times that she dealt with by isolating herself. She was constantly in a bad mood and was mostly bored because of pushing everyone away. Eventually, things got better as soon as Marzia made new friends in the new area. 

She loved spending time in her mother’s closet, trying on shoes and clothes too big for her at the time. She was always fascinated by each piece and could spend hours there. The closet was a safe and magical space for her. 

2. She Met Her Husband Online  

Marzia is married to the Swedish Internet sensation PewDiePie whose real name is Felix Kjellberg. She met Felix through YouTube after a friend recommended his funny videos. She liked the content and the guy at first sight and so she dared to send him a message.  

That is how they started communicating online. They wrote letters to one another for a long time till they finally met. Although they lived in different countries, they became very close. Soon Felix came to Italy, met her, and introduced himself to her parents.

After graduating from high school, Marzia decided not to proceed to the university. She wanted to live an unusual life to break the monotony of a stable and predictable almost routine life like her friends and parents.  

Soon after Felix met her parents, Marzia left her parent’s house and moved with him to Sweden where they started living together. She was only 19 years old at the time. Afterward, they moved to Italy, then Brighton in England then to Japan. She is currently living in Tokyo, but the couple has homes in both England and Japan. 

On 27th April 2018, Felix proposed to her and one year later, on 20th August 2019, the couple got married. The two tied the knot exactly eight years after they first met and celebrated the day with their closest family and friends.   

4. She Had A Popular YouTube Channel

On 16th January 2012, Marzia launched a channel on YouTube with the help of her boyfriend Felix. At first, she was shy in front of the camera, but she slowly overcame it and started posting interesting content.

Her videos on YouTube focused on fashion, beauty, makeup, DIY, books, movies, vlogs, and video gaming. She spoke English in her videos. With a large following, she soon became an influencer and promoted a variety of shoes, clothes, and make-up.  

Her partner PewDiePie appeared in some of her vlogs and the couple became very popular. They are one of the sweetest couples on YouTube. Soon, they got sponsors who paid for their tours around the world, and they would document the trips for their followers.

Marzia鈥檚 YouTube channel was one of the most popular in the beauty and makeup genre. The Wall Street Journal reported that it attracted over 16 million viewers each month in 2014 being very popular with females aged 13 to 24 years.  

In 2018, the unexpected happened. Marzia had decided to quit YouTube for the sake of her mental health. Marzia explained to her fans, who she nicknamed Marzipans, that she wanted to try something new. 

Surprisingly, even after her YouTube retirement, she continued to be in the spotlight as an influencer.

While she exploded in popularity as a makeup and fashion YouTube content creator, she also did product endorsements and even created her fashion line. Marzia also does voice acting in various animated web series.

Marzia鈥檚 design merchandise includes nail polish shades and home decor products. She designed “Daisy” shoes through Project Shoe and launched a nail polish brand with Zoya in 2016. The following year, she launched a clothing line called Lemon which is paired with a fragrance. She created a clothing line, Amore, plus she has a jewelry, pottery, and home decor brand called Mai that she began in 2018.

Marzia and her husband have three pet dogs. Being avid dog lovers, they own two pugs, Edgar, and Maya who sadly lost her eye in a fight with a cat. She also has a hedgehog named Dogy and previously owned a toad named Slippy.  

Marzia lost a lot of valuables after her home in Japan was vandalized. They lost jewelry, luxury goods, and special items that they had been collecting over the years. After the incident, she and her husband began to keep a few more things in their lives to themselves.
