With stunning landscapes, world-famous art and architecture, fabulous food and wine, welcoming people, rich history and culture around every corner – Italy dazzles the senses. It’s la dolce vita in the Bel Paese that makes it a must-visit destination. This is why I have always dreamed of going to Italy. The food, the wine, the history, the scenery – everything about it seems magical. I want to wander the streets of Rome, see the Colosseum and the Pantheon and toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain.

I want to explore the canals of Venice, ride a gondola, and eat pasta until I burst. The Leaning Tower of Pisa, the ruins of Pompeii, the rolling hills of Tuscany with its vineyards and olive groves – I long to experience it all. But I know visiting Italy can also be overwhelming for first-time travellers.
